At Black Velvet Spa Loft, we have extensive knowledge and experience with all skin types and conditions. We strive to provide you with the guidance, tools, and services needed to achieve and maintain healthy skin. Black Velvet's skin care treatments are all personalized and use a variety of result-oriented products and equipment, carefully selected for your individual needs.
For most areas of the body, including brazilian, the length of hair should be about the length of a grain of rice. This is about 7 to 10 days of hair growth from the last time you shaved, or about 2 to 3 weeks from your last wax. For legs, the hair needs a minimum of 2 weeks of growth from your last shave or 4 weeks from your last wax.
The sugaring paste is 100% natural, hypoallergenic, non-comeodogenic, and not tested on animals. The sugar paste does not stick to live skin cells and only gently exfoliates the dead skin. Sugaring treatments are economical because most clients see thinner, finer hair and improved skin conditions after just a few sessions.
This treatment is great for acne on the back or when getting ready to go backless. This includes a deep cleanse, steam, exfoliation, extractions, a back massage, and a calming masque, followed by a customized serum and lotion. Devyn was amazing!! I got the relaxation Thai massage and regular relaxation massage back to back and it was a great experience!! Devyn listened to all of my concerns of what I really wanted worked on. And she was very big on making sure I was comfortable. She communicated with me before we started and during to explain what she was doing or if she needed me to move a certain way. I truly believe the relaxation Thai massage is one of the best massages you can have! Never felt more comfortable with a place or a person off this kind of service!! 10/10 experience!!!!

The spa itself was beautiful, relaxing, and so clean! The staff were amazing and really helped make a newbie like me to feel very comfortable. Ms. Devyn was kind, friendly, and really helped me understand the concerns I had with my skin as well as breaking the information down in a simple way! I will recommend black velvet to anyone interested in improving their skin’s appearance or just needing a relaxing massage.

Today I went to Devyn for my very first sugaring session. I had my underarms and a Brazilian done. DEVYN IS SO INCREDIBLY GENTLE! Waxing my brows was more painful than sugaring by far! For me, the process didn't hurt not one bit. She did a test patch on my thigh, so I had an idea of what the sugaring would feel like. She's SO PROFESSIONAL & KNOWLEDGEABLE, no need to feel uncomfortable with her at all. She explained the process before hand and was great at giving me direction as needed. This was a GREAT experience and I've already scheduled my next appointment! LADIES & GENTS if you're on the fence

I’ve been getting sugared by Cassie for about two years and every appointment is great! She’s so sweet and personable. If you’re nervous her conversation will distract you (lol in a good way). The loft space is decorated beautifully and relaxing. On your way out you can schedule your next appointment with the receptionist whose customer service is amazing! Definitely recommend

These ladies are fabulous. Today I received a Thai massage from Devyn and it was amazing! It was very relaxing although we still worked on flexibility. Devin is very knowledgeable and shares her knowledge with her clients. Additionally, she listens to you and your body and also shows you stretches that you can do at home.
I receive sugar waxes from Cassie and she is the gentlest sugared I've ever had. Also she is very knowledgeable and absolutely love what she does. Whether it is skin care or self care, check these ladies out!

So this was my first time getting sugar wax. The establishment is very is very sleek and neat. Before my appointment I received a confirmation reminder on regards of my appointment. When checking in for my service I was greeted by their lovely front desk associate Taylor she was very helpful about the product that are offered at the spa and other services that are available. She was very understanding and helpful with scheduling around my busy schedule.

Cassie is the best! Her space is always very clean and comfortable. Cassie is so knowledgeable about skin care and can assist you in finding the right products, without being pushy. She is down-to-earth and I always enjoy talking to her. Her receptionist, Taylor, is also very sweet and helpful. I’m so glad I found Black Velvet Spa!
