The H2O Below is a 36' Newton custom dive boat, and is certified to carry 24 divers. For everyone's comfort, trips are limited to 16 recreational divers or 10 tech divers. Our spacious deck, large swim platform and sturdy ladder provide a safe staging area for both recreational and technical divers.
Follow Garden Street for 1.6 miles through Downtown and turn left at D street which will become Barrancas Ave. Continue on Barrancas Ave If you are going to MBT Divers, go 3.2 miles and turn left onto Navy Blvd. Continue on Barrancas Ave (turns into Gulf Beach Hwy after you cross Navy Blvd) for an additional 5.1 miles.

Very poor communication! I understand that there was a chance for the charter to get canceled due to weather, but after calling multiple times, with no answer, I finally got a hold of Captain Doug on Thursday afternoon before a Saturday dive. He mentioned as long as the weather is good we are still on. We show up at the dock for our dive to find out Captain Doug was not here on this beautiful Saturday morning. Called him no answer. He calls back to say he has canceled the trip and emailed everyone (which I never received). This is beyond frustrating as we drove 7 hours for this charter and on a

Captain Doug and H2O Below have a great operation. We dove the Oriskany and had excellent conditions. Pretty calm seas, 75 feet of visibility and about 75° water temperatures. There were some divemaster candidates on the boat and they did a great job with the dive brief and helping out the crew. The Oriskany is by far the best dive I've done. Lots of different fish and a few sharks around the island. Apparently a bull shark came up a couple feet behind me and I had no clue. Most people were diving on 28% nitrox but there was also one air diver and I used 32% on the second dive. Definitely bring

4 of us just finished 2 days of diving the Oriskany (1 day shallow tech and 1 day deep tech) with Capt Doug on the H2O Below. Well run boat and fast. Capt and Divemaster know the wrecks in infinite detail and can help finalize dive plans. Plenty of fresh water on board and sub sandwiches on the way back to the dock. This was our first time diving the Oriskany and with this boat operation but we had a great experience and have no need to look anywhere else when we return. Highly recommended.
