Windgate Vineyards and Winery is an award-winning producer of regional wines, and the largest estate winery in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Windgate is located in the charming town of Smicksburg, PA, a regional tourist destination as well as an established Amish community. Windgate wines are available for sale in a number of different retail outlets, including the sales room at the winery.

Services
Windgate began as a vineyard 30 years ago by the Enerson family, then expanded to become a producer of fine, estate-grown wines. The founders were fortunate, for they discovered that the vineyard's microclimate is nearly perfect for growing wine grapes: an elevation, western slope exposure, and persistent air drainage provide warming in the winter and cooling in the summer.
AMERICANA: A perfect pairing of Niagara and Concord grapes bursts with favor to please the palate. AMISH COUNTRY RED: A proprietary blend of French hybrids produces this sweet, medium-bodied wine with just a hint of oak. It is perfect with spaghetti and red sauces. CONCORD: One of our most popular red wines.
AMISH COUNTRY WHITE: An estate blend of French hybrid varieties yields our most popular sweet white wine with a long fruity finish. LA DOLCE VITA: Our own popular version of "the sweet life" is a very smooth, sweet table wine blended from American and hybrid grapes. NIAGARA: Bursting with fruit, this popular American varietal is both sweet and unforgettable.
In addition to rose wines, Windgate offers fruit wines (made entirely from fruit), "Party Wines" (grape wines with natural flavor) and an "ice wine" - a type of dessert wine produced from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine. Windgate also offers many seasonal and specialty wines throughout the year.
