Camp Billings is a FUN co-ed sleepaway summer camp for kids ages 8 to 15, located on Lake Fairlee, Vt. Established in 1906, Camp Billings has a vibrant alumni association that spreads across the globe. Camp Billings in Thetford, Vermont, gives kids a safe haven to truly be themselves because they know that their individuality is not only valued, it is celebrated!

This is a place exploding with creativity, imagination and fun: a perfect recipe to form new meaningful friendships (uninterrupted by cellphones and modern technology). For more than a century, Camp Billings has inspired our campers to build independence and enjoy the freedom to try new activities every day.
Services
Since 1906, Camp Billings has provided a unique camping experience for boys and girls that is safe, healthy, nurturing, and fun. On the shores of beautiful Lake Fairlee in Central Vermont, our campers, some of whom are second, third and fourth generation to Billings find an oasis from their hectic lives during the school year.
Founded in 1906 by Archibald "Dad" Hurd with a land grant from the Billings family of Woodstock, VT, Camp Billings began as a small retreat for children from Vermont. Dad Hurd continued to direct camp for the next 50 years (!) as the facilities and population of camp expanded. Since then the camp family has grown to include people from all over America, Canada, and around the globe.
We will not be renting to large groups like weddings, family reunions, or company retreats. The cabin comfortably sleeps 4 with the ability to sleep two more in the living room (king and full double). The cabin has beds for 6 people with the ability to sleep a couple more in the open spaces (king, queen sleeper, and bunk beds).
For over a century, the Camp Billings Alumni Association has planned reunions and opportunities to keep alumni connected to our dear old camp. If you have ever attended Billings as a camper or as a staff, you are a Billings alum! Come visit next summer. Contact the office to make arrangements. Camp Billings hosts a grand reunion weekend every five years in early June before we open for the season.
Visit the Alumni page to send us your news. If you want to mail something for the alumni room or newsletter, please send them to camp during the summer or to Marianne St-Laurent in the off season. If you have any questions, please contact our camp registrar Marianne St Laurent or our camp directors Anne and Sean Collins via email.

My sister and both went to Camp Billings when we were about 11 years old. We still have wonderful memories of our time there. Especially the swim to shore we had to do in order to take a canoe out on the lake. I am now 80 years old and my sister is 84. So happy to know Camp Billings is still there.

I have been going to this camp for almost 7 years and every year it makes my summer amazing. Without this camp my parents would of never met and that makes it just that more fun.

My time growing up at Camp Billings was the most important experience in shaping who I am as an adult. I developed confidence in myself, I felt loved and accepted, I honed my leadership skills and I made friendships that are so important to me to this day.
