At 9, my passion for design and fashion began. I made clothing for my dolls from scraps of clothing, clothing my siblings grew out of, anything I could get my hands on! I created my own backpacks, and thought of new creations in my head. I was fascinated. My mother wanted me to explore a career in nursing, as I came from a family in the medical field.
However, once admitted, I soon ran away from that field and spent time with a friend who owned a boutique, that specialized in bespoke clothing. I was in love. This is what I wanted. My mother found out, disciplined me, but understood in the end that I couldn't handle the medical field life. I went to school for 3 years to a fashion design college, and created many beautiful pieces of clothing for my family.

Cynthia is a very nice lady. She's personable and works hard. Unfortunately, I can't agree with all the 5 star ratings... Not because of her tailoring skills but more her time management. I gave her 3 dresses and 2 pairs of pants to alter. The dresses needed to be hemmed, cups installed and straps shortened. The pants only hemmed. She charged me $450 up front (which I didn't like because who pays before you see the work?) and also thought was expensive but fine... Support small business.

Cynthia did a fantastic job altering my red dress for my special occasion. Because I completely procrastinated I went in needing a rush turnaround for an event coming up in just a few days. She hemmed the bottom, added straps and put a piece in between my sweetheart neckline like I request so I wouldn't have too much showing in front.. and both were beautifully crafted from the dress itself. Everything was perfect exactly the way you envision it coming out when you go to a professional tailor.

Sooo Happy. After ordering a dress that showed up with the zipper stuck I brought dress here to get help with zipper.. then tried on dress to see that omg it doesn’t fit!!! With only a week left until the wedding Cynthia added a beautiful corset and made it actually fit me. Highly recommend this place she’s such a nice person too bright smile did great work for me

Absolutely amazing work! She has a sweet heart and is a very genuine person and you can tell truly loves what she does. She altered my pants for my wedding and I absolutely loved them! Another seamstress told me she could not do what I wanted and I was disappointed but Cynthia said easy and no problem! Absolutely exceeded my expectations!

The lady is very friendly and I want to recommend her work. BUT I was having my suit for my wedding tailored here and on the day we agreed to pick up the suit (she had close to three weeks to do 5 simple alterations) I called to pick up the clothes and because of some confusion with another order (she explained) the suit had not been finished yet. I explained the wedding was coming up this weekend and Im a little too busy to be able to come back on another work week day. She put a rush on it and did eventually have it completed by the end of the day. BUT later I found a small opening about a half

I cannot speak more highly of Cynthia and her store!!! Cynthia is so kind and polite! I came to her with a time sensitive tailor job and she was able accommodate me with such short notice! Hats off to her!! Her customer service and craftsmanship are impeccable! Her store is clean, comfortable, and makes you feel right at home. Run as far away from this lady as possible! She ruined my wedding dress. I am 5'11 and she cut the bottom of my dress so short that both of my feet were showing. Not only that it's completely uneven. She did my bustle wrong and it looks like there are two flaps on each side. She sewed the sleeves to my dress about a half inch to and inch to small so now the dress doesn't fit under my arms. I had to postpone my wedding 10 days before my wedding and thank god I did because I would have shown up to a ruined dress and would have had no other options. She was taking forever to finish

I bought a suit at Goodwill, the coat fit great but the pants were a little big. I called Cynthia & asked if I brought them in today would they be done today, she said yes. I went to see her & told her what I wanted done. She sent me a text letting me know my pants were finished. I tried them on & they were exactly what I wanted. She did an amazing job! I recommend Cynthia for all your tailor needs.

Horrible experience, she overcharged me, over promised and under delivered, and that's not even the worst she put the wrong tags on my clothes, she put Medium tags on small shirts and 2x tags on My XL shirts. Costing me a lot of time and money I'm so glad i found someone else to do it priced way better more efficient

I just needed something simple: hemming two pairs of pants for two suits. Sure, I could have done it myself, but I wanted it done right for these suits and I have nowhere near the practice required to do a professional job!
They were finished perfectly and Cynthia had them ready earlier than promised -- which was great because, apparently I can't read a claim check :/
I suppose this was a bit like hiring a landscape architect to water your lawn, but I appreciate the quality work!

She is amazing!!! I had this dress I bought. It was completely boring, so I asked if she could make a slit on the side of my thigh so I can add some pizzazz! So with underneath the week I came back and my dress was as flawless as I could imagine. It was perfect, you would've thought I bought the dress with the slit in it. Great pricing, quality work, I am 100% recommending her services.
