Services
DAVID N. SIMMONS, Esq., Lead Attorney, has practiced immigration law in his native Denver since 1986. He represents a broad variety of immigration clients from all countries in the world. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he teaches Immigration Law in Spanish as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Denver's Spanish in the Law program.
In addition to these exceptional cases, we are representing individuals in removal before the Immigration Court, applying for cancellation of removal and other remedies. We are regularly applying for immigrant visas for family members, obtaining provisional waivers to overcome their unlawful status in the United States (in fact, we had years of experience obtaining waivers abroad before the provisional waiver process existed).
A: Many immigration matters are complex enough to require legal assistance. In other cases, the consequences of losing are too severe to risk without experienced legal assistance. However, some matters are routine. Hiring a lawyer is then a matter of preference. In our initial consultation, we can discuss whether hiring a lawyer is appropriate for you, and help you make this decision.

Simmons took thousands of dollars from my parents. He would ask for more money around tax season and at times my parents didn’t know if he was actually defending them. He toyed with their emotions and even called the case “easy” and still managed to loose. Do not hire this man. He was rude and unkind to the people with little to no legal knowledge. But he will gladly take your money.
