Heirloom is dedicated to providing the finest textile cleaning and restoration for Oriental and Fine area rugs. Every handmade rug has a story. It usually begins in the country of origin. These are works of art from cultures that are disappearing. While commercial productions have increased in recent years, the weaving of fine rugs is a dying art.
A cleaning process should not be harder on your rug than average daily wear. We address all issues with rugs we receive for cleaning with a pre-inspection. The pre-existing condition can dramatically affect the final result of cleaning. Surface cleaning, pet spills, and pre-spotting and dirt combine to change a rug over time.

Vicki & Roberto at Heirloom provide good, old-fashioned personal service matched with experience and professionalism. The five rugs they just cleaned for us came back bright & fresh with colors looking vibrant & new. A few older rugs needed repair. Heirloom did that too, adding years to the life of these rugs. Communication was excellent. When you call a real person, who is interested in helping you answers. So nice.

This is an easy review to write. I called Heirloom and spoke with "Vicki," who walked me through the process and left me with great confidence in Heirloom's ability to properly care for our oriental carpets. She was very accommodating about timing for pick-up and delivery.
Vicki also advised watching several of the short videos on their site, which I did. They provided me with a real education on rug construction and the proper care and feeding of a nice rug. Bottom line...don't be afraid of getting a beautiful oriental rug completely wet. It's the only way to clean it down to its foundation and
