Services
Dr. Hale served a mission for the LDS church in Mexico. He married his wife, Katie, in Utah just before moving to Maryland in 2004 to finish dental school at the University of Maryland. He graduated in 2008 and has been practicing dentistry in Memphis, Tennessee for the last nine years. Dr. Hale and his family are excited to be back home in Utah, where he loves to mountain bike, disc golf, and play ice hockey.

Your dentist/hygienist will clean your teeth and examine them for cavities or gum disease. These are a permanent solution for decayed, damaged, or missing teeth to improve function and appearance. This can include injuries to the mouth, lips or cheek and teeth that have been knocked out. Wisdom teeth often need to be removed because they can affect the alignment of other teeth.

Oral exams are necessary for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Whether you are preparing for your first check-up or have not had one in a while, here is what you can expect at your next oral exam. During an oral exam and cleaning, you or your child will sit in an examination chair. Your dental hygienist will use small tools to inspect and remove plaque and tartar from your teeth.

There is only one good thing about this place and that is the Dentist, he is great. However he does not try to work with his staff. To change the complaints.

However his staff are rude and they don’t speak english or understand english. That makes communicating concerns with them difficult.

An example is today I needed a Kleenex to blow my nose and the staff acted like I was interrupting her day. I also find it very rude that they come in the rooms and start speaking in Spanish in front of you. I find this very rude and uncomfortable at any appointments I attend.

I went in after years of not seeing a dentist. Either dentistry has changed, or I lucked into finding one of the best dental offices around. Its so rare to find service providers who can combine that feeling of down-home warmth, humor and acceptance with high levels of skill and professionalism. I can actually say I had a great time going to the dentist (and this is after receiving a deep cleaning and tooth extraction during the same visit). 5 stars well earned!

This place is horrible. One my dad goes in and they say they dont take his insurance and send him home but then goes right back and says they take his insurance but the dentist has other stuff to do but then sees him. Again my sister goes in says they dont take her insurance but they do. Then goes back and the dentist says the same thing and says he cant fit her in the schedule but then says oh wait we can. Umm i made an appointment so why do you need to fit my sister in the schedule this appointment was made days ago.

So first, the actual dentist portion is phenomenal. They are so good and so thorough that some of the other issues can be overlooked.
I went twice and was told no copay and then got a bill two months after the fact about how I owed money, and that I was 60 days late on the payment. No prior bills received. So if they wanted to convey a sense of urgency in paying, I guess they did? But at the cost of my confidence in their billing department. To make matters more complicated, they also linked my account to another person's and we're gracious enough to unlink it, but the added matter of screwing

I had the best most excellent care here. Not only was the Dr very kind and understanding and gentle. But so was the staff. Iv never felt more at ease then at this office. And the nurse even held my hand for the shots part because I was so scared. They truly took the best care of me I'll be bringing back my kids and myself. Thank you for the amazing care

I found myself having a dental emergency and needed to see a dentist right away. Call after call I either got told to wait until the next day because of the holiday (it was Martin Luther King's Day) or that they simply did not have any openings. My procedure would take no longer than 10 minutes, so I was surprised to be turned down by so many clinics, they clearly did not care about my well being.
Things were quite different when I reached Hale Family Dental. After explaining my emergency they told me to come in that same day. I went in, did some paperwork, and guess what? My procedure

They are amazing here!! The entire staff is super friendly and really make you feel like family and friends when you visit. The assistants and hygienist are gentle and thorough. Dr. Hale didn't pressure me to remove all my wisdom teeth, only the 1 that was bothering me. (Other dentists want to take them all to get more money for cost of extraction!) I am definitely suggesting that if you're looking for a new family dentist, this is a great place to go!!
