Services
Clear orthodontic aligners are a relatively new alternative to metal braces. Clear aligners function very similarly to metal braces in that their main goal being to align the wearer's teeth. This is accomplished through several series of slightly different shaped aligners that will gradually realign the teeth into a more functional and aesthetic position.
A cosmetic dentist. This is one of the problems in the dental world right now. You may not think there's a problem in the dental world, that it's just drilling and filling. A cosmetic dentist does not exist. There are 7 recognized specialties from the American Dental Association, and a cosmetic dentist is not one of them.
A crown (cap) is a restoration that is placed on teeth that have lost a lot of their structure. Dental crowns are essentially hollow teeth placed over your existing teeth to improve their health and appearance. Crowns are excellent for strengthening broken, disfigured, or weakened teeth. They are also useful to improve the appearance of worn down or yellowed teeth.
A dental implant is a wonderful. Wonderful treatment that has been made available in dentistry not just recently but for quite a long time now. Basically, what a dental implant is, is a synthetic tooth. The top of your teeth that you can see should only be about one third of the actual tooth, the root is the other two thirds of the tooth.
Sedation has many levels. A person taking the drug Prozac is considered to be, mildly, sedated. This same person however, can still fully function, going to work, driving a car, etc. Certainly, this level of sedation would not be considered acceptable for a dental phobic.
Conscious sedation means a minimally depressed level of consciousness that retains the patient's ability to independently and continuously maintain an airway and respond appropriately to physical stimulation and verbal command.So conscious sedation, by law, is a minimal level of sedation where the patient must retain the ability to have a conversation with the dentist.

If I could give 10 Stars I would. Dr Ellis is not only an amazing dentist but an amazing person in general. He is very kind and considerate of his patients and takes the time to visit and get to know you as well. Every single person I have dealt with in this office has gone above and beyond in terms of friendliness and service. I would highly recommend Dr Ellis to anyone looking for a fantastic dentist.

Dr Jim Ellis is an excellent dentist. I am impressed with his gentle hand and care when receiving dental work. He goes above and beyond to make sure that the patient is satisfied. Jim is the best Dentist in town! I had four wisdom teeth extracted. Two of them were touching my nerve. I was terrified of nerve damage, but Jim put me at ease when he mentioned that he was familiar with this. He called the same day as my wisdom teeth extraction to ask how I was doing. Unfortunately, I missed his call, but Jim is so kind that he left a voicemail to let me know everything went great. I have no nerve damage and no numbness.

It took my very anxious teen to have four wisdom teeth removed, and Dr Jim Ellis had a funny and comforting bedside manner. He put her to ease and is a highly skilled surgeon. The after treatment was thoughtful and was perfect for quick healing. I highly recommend Dr Jim Ellis and this office and won't hesitate to use them in the future.

I love everything about this dental office. The staff was friendly, patient and definitely in the business to create and help healthy smiles. This was my first visit, and I couldn't have been more satisfied with my overall experience. Highly recommend Dr Jim! My 15-year-old daughter needed her wisdom teeth pulled, as she was in a lot of pain from them coming in. I was a little worried about her having oral surgery during Covid, but Dr Jim's office took all precautions. My daughter was very nervous about the procedure, but Dr Jim made her feel comfortable with his humour and kindness. He was very clear and thorough with what to expect on the day of surgery and recommendations for after-care. He also called that evening to check on her. Dr Jim and his office staff made this experience very easy for my daughter and me.

My appointment time is always met. I don't usually have to wait very long to be seen. The staff are always friendly and professional. They remember who I am and that's important too me. This time I broke a tooth and they got me in the next day. The procedure for a capped tooth is very different quick and easier than it used to be. Thanks everyone for making my visit today as pleasant as it could be.
