Phil Stamos is a 2008 Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and acupuncturist with more than a decade of service experience in the greater Milwaukee area.

Acupuncture is a time-tested technique of stimulating and directing the body's innate capacity to heal itself. The hair-fine needles are strategically placed at points on the body to help it better adapt to the stresses that cause the body to experience pain and functional deficits that can affect our health.
Acupuncture needles are incredibly thin, and generally produce a minimal amount of discomfort upon insertion. Most people report a momentary "bug bite" sensation that quickly fades into a dull, heavy, or tingling sensation at the needle site. Most needle insertions are extremely shallow, entering the skin only fractions of an inch.
Phil goes above and beyond. As a healthcare provider, this is what I respect most about his practice. We have co-managed and worked together through several mutual patient's cases, and there is no other acupuncturist I would recommend over Phil. Keep up the good work and thank you for what you do. Many people are often surprised to find out that their insurance plan covers acupuncture services. Please bring your insurance information with you to your first appointment and I will verify your coverage to determine if that is an option. I currently am contracted as an in-network provider for United Healthcare, UMR, Dean Health, Anthem BC/BS, and Cigna.

A warm claiming atmosphere in both the office decor and in Phil Stamos’ personality. He takes the time to really listen and use his extensive knowledge to creat the best treatment for you. He helped control not only my pain but also my anxiety after being in multiple car accidents within a very short period of time. I now just wish I had started seeing him right after the very first accident. I recommend him all of the time.

I have a pinched nerve in my neck & had pain there as well as down my arms and particularly in my hands. Additionally, I have a number of anatomical problems in my lower back and was getting numbness in my left leg. Phil has been incredible. I'm not in pain anymore, and my arm and hand strength is better than I can recall. He is wonderful! My husband is retired doctor and was slightly skeptical at first. He's noticed the tremendous improvement. I can't recommend Phil more!

Phil is great at what he does. He has a calming personality along with soothing music in the office, and all that helps to calm your nerves before treatment even starts. I went to see Phil for treatment for chronic planter fasciitis; the treatment was painless and after suffering for years I have been pain free for 2 years now. I would highly recommend seeing Phil for whatever ails you!

I initially went to Phil for neck and shoulder pain and I was happy to find out he could also help me with the anxiety I have suffered from for the past 20 years. My anxiety was a daily problem and since my treatments with Phil, it is almost nonexistent. Because of this, my day to day life has improved immensely. I have been able to completely stop using one of my anxiety drugs and have started to taper off the other one. Phil has been treating me for three years. I have progressive Multiple Sclerosis and his treatment plan has made an incredible difference enhancing my quality of life. I've suffered with severe sciatica pain, which is cured. I've suffered from neuropathy in my feet and severe knee pain which is currently minimal to nonexistent.
