Headquartered in Baton Rouge, The Workforce Group (WFG) is a veteran owned Louisiana small business specializing in insurance adjusting and inspection services with a specialty in disaster response and recovery staffing and management. The WFG owners came together in 2013 after spending years in the disaster recovery field.

I'm a retiree and my background was Banking Specialized Lending. In March 2021 I was asked if I would be interested in working on a Disaster Relief Project. I said sure. I was told to forward my Resume to WFG and was interviewed the same day and received an offer letter the next day. WFG is a great company to work for as a whole. If you are passionate about helping others that's been devastated by disasters WFG is a great company.

While what Tim said may have SOME validity, it is the nature of the disaster business and whatever funding may happen. When hired we are told that is a "project only" position and that it is a production-based job for this particular assignment. Yes, it was anticipated that it would be for a few months, but it was told that it would be until the funds run out. As soon as WFG was aware, they got everyone on a call and discussed the news and they offered everyone that was hired a positive reference and even are looking into having a possible networking event to help out. I've met some really cool people working for this company. It's a contract/temp gig and has really helped out with paying bills until I can get something permanent. The satisfaction of helping out other folks in need, AND getting paid pretty well to do it has been the highlight though. Getting to work from home in my pajamas is also a huge plus. I can't forget Stacey and how she has gone out of her way to help get us trained and working so quickly.

These guys are junk. Started Oct 2021 and they told us Nov 2021 we didn't have jobs. Was supposed to be a 6 month assignment. Was counting on this job to get me through the holidays. So everyone is out a job before Christmas. Did they care....NOPE. Not one bit. Michelle Jackson asks me what she could off done different like I was apart of coordinating this disaster. I have no idea what you could have done differently. Maybe you should ask yourself that...not me.
