Heidi's Kinderhaus in Novato, California, is a family childcare center with a Montessori style education. Not all day care facilities offer this type of education. Our preschool program aids in the development of the whole child, intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially. Heidi's Kinderhaus has served our community for over 25 years.
Our teachers have years of experience in early childhood education. We offer school shuttle service for our after school homework club. We have a full curriculum to prepare your little ones for the school years ahead. We strive to promote independence and positive self-image in an educational, nurturing environment.

Services
Heidi's Kinderhaus' teachers are credentialed, as opposed to a home daycare and have CPR & 1st aide training. We are in a centralized location in a residential area. Heidi's Kinderhaus services are affordable, and we are currently offering some discounts and scholarships to families. We also can work with Mccc and Cal Works families.

I can't begin to thank Marci and her team enough for the amount of affection, time and attention they gave my son. We moved here from SoCal where he had a full time nanny so there was a definitely adjustment period, but the staff was super patient and kind and helped my son transition at his own pace. Now he looks forward to going in every morning and barely acknowledges us when we come to pick him up cause he's having so much fun!!
The place feels like home, the kids all get along and are supported in whatever they want to do, and the staff is patient and kind...you can't ask

I cannot say enough good things about this amazing Preschool! After enrolling my kids into multiple programs throughout Marin county I was dissatisfied with the services my family received. Once my kids enrolled in Heidi's kinderhaus I honestly never had any problems and they accommodated all of our needs. The staff formed a special bond with my children, and you could easily notice they genuinely care about all of the children enrolled at the preschool.

Ok, it's been a long time. But good preschools last a long time in Novato. I checked out all of them when my girls were young. I'm an educator, so I look at things parents may not think about. I can't say enough good things about Heidi's. Great staff, facility, program. Lets kids be kids. Lived-in feel, just like home. Not dirty, but not antiseptic, either. Used to be Multicultural, may still be. I think I've just talked myself into a visit. Such good memories.

Leaving your child in someone else's care is never easy, but I have found peace of mind with the ladies at Heidi's! My 2 year-old son LOVES to come here. In fact, sometimes he doesn't even want to leave! I love the Montessori-style teaching that Marcie uses. Often when I pick him up they are reading or singing. Very reassuring that he is getting a head start for preschool. They also play outside for a majority of the day which is really important to me. Thank you ladies for treating my son so well!
