Services
Our elderly care services in Houston is comprised of our leadership, a talented team of care coordinators, supervisors who provide elder care services. While each role is important, our caregivers make up the heart of our team. We call our caregivers Ambassadors because in many cases they serve as a representative for clients who may be unable to voice their own needs.
It's saddening for any adult to admit that a parent-who has presumably spent a lifetime caring, nurturing, and helping them-has now become the one who needs extra care and help. Life is busy and you can't be there for them all the time. Balancing between work, children, and day-to-day demands created by caring for an elderly loved one can sometimes outweigh the logistical, financial, or emotional resources available.
Loneliness is the distressing feeling of being alone or separated, regardless of the amount of social contact. It can negatively impact the health condition of our elders, both physically and emotionally. The long-term effects of loneliness in the elderly can be devastating and may lead to serious health risks and psychological problems, such as depression, anxiety, heart disease, and even death.
Do you know someone with a severe disease with a prognosis of six months or less to live, if the disease runs its ordinary course? Do you feel that you have reached your limit as a caregiver, or are you unsure about what a patient will go through during their end of life journey? Are you trying to break the cycle of returning again and again to the hospital or emergency room?
Time waits for nobody, and soon before you realize it, your hair starts greying and wrinkles start to appear on your face. Dealing with old age and covering up the distance from independence to dependence is usually very overwhelming. People lose their health, abilities and memory - the wonders that we take for granted otherwise.

I interviewed Ambassadors while staying with my mom during her hip surgery at St. Luke's Hospital in 2012. She remained for a three-week rehabilitation, and I needed to return home. Mom's caregiver was terrific! Our needs changed over the years, with my father needing care, and now 24-hour care allows mom to stay in her home. With a few bumps in the road, Ambassadors Caregivers' office administration has been dependable, prompt, and professional. Mom's caregivers offer kind and considerate care that is above and beyond the usual, each one enriching mom's day.

My family first became acquainted with Ambassadors when my mother had a hip replacement at St. Luke's Hospital. We hired night time care so that I could return home to care for my household at night. Later I employed them when my mom left the hospital and returned home. She was no longer able to give my elderly father the support that he needed.

Great, is all I can say! We were away from the city for a week and we needed caregiver in Houston for our Mom, who could help her with her daily activities. After one week when we arrived home, my mother seemed happier and was doing much better. It was a great experience with Ambassadors Caregivers.

I did not know how hard it was to care for mom until I had to do it myself. Sudden stroke left my mom helpless. I was referred to Ambassadors Caregivers for help. It was God sent. Myra and Michelle were amazing with mom. I did not have to worry when I'm not with her. They know her more than most people do. They can anticipate her needs and will go above an beyond to make her feel at ease. They helps her through physical rehab, made amazing meals, and was superb at making sure she took her medications. The staff was great, too. They were right on top of things and responded quickly. I am fortunate
