I went to an appointment with podiatry specialist because I had a suspicious black and engorged toenail. I didn't know if it was a fungus, or what. The appointment lasted 3 minutes. The (kind) doctor said hello, looked at only that toenail, cut a piece of nail and told me he would send it to the lab.
I asked him about my feet in general, how he saw the nails (like I would with any specialist, - now that I'm here do a check-up- ) he just said it's all good. Thanks for coming.
A week goes by and I get a message "it's not a fungus! Good luck!" - sooo.... What is it? No other further explanation

Made an appointment to have my toenail looked at. Dr took samples from each toe, got a call that “everything was fine”, with no explanation of what the cause could be, or possible ways to relieve it. One month later, I received a 1,600$ bill in the mail for the testing. I still have no idea of what could be wrong and I’ve found more answers on google. Really disappointed that I had to spend so much money to not get answers.
