Located in Mitchell County, Iowa the Cedar River Complex is a multi-faceted recreation facility which includes an Events Center, Wellness Center, the Mitchell County Historical Museum and a Fine Arts Center. There truly is something for everyone at the Cedar River Complex.

The Cedar River Complex offers an expansive Wellness Center, which includes all the equipment and space required to meet the diverse fitness needs and expectations of area residents. Elevated track for indoor running and/or walking (16 laps around the track equals 1 mile). Play a game of volleyball, basketball, pickleball, badminton, and more!
Not only is the CRC Family Fun Zone a place to engage in interactive play with your children or grandchildren, but it is also an area for supervised babysitting, game playing, teen nights and more. We are providing supervised babysitting in the Family Fun Zone so parents/guardians can utilize the Wellness Center.
We have something for everyone at the CRC! Whether you are looking for an early morning workout, or evening workout, we have everything! Try our fitness classes today! Take a different approach to strength training and focus on gaining strength while improving your mobility through a feel good strength program incorporating deep strengthening and foam rolling to release tension and muscle soreness.
A CRC membership is based on an annual contract. You can opt to pay this annual contract in 12 monthly payments via electronic payment or by one payment of the annual fee. A $40 joiner's fee will be charged in addition to the membership fees to start your membership. Membership scholarships are available.

I come back to town to visit family maybe two or three times a year, and I always go to this gym to work out. It's clean and spacious with a friendly staff and pretty good equipment. It actually has a lot more resources than you would think for a pretty small town. They could use a few more benches and free weights, but overall, this place is a lot nicer than other gyms I've seen which are a lot more expensive.

Had our wedding reception at the Event Center, and it was an exceptionally easy, cost-effective, enjoyable experience! The staff--namely Paige--were very accommodating and helpful. It was the perfect venue for our wedding, and very spacious (party of about 250). Would recommend to anyone! Best day ever!
