Big Pie In The Sky
Big Pie in the Sky Pizzeria opened its doors in February of 2007 and quickly became a favorite among locals and students in Kennesaw. In 2009 we were featured on the Travel Channel's Man v Food for our Carnivore Challenge, and have grown into a regional attraction! Our dough is made fresh from scratch every day using an original New York Style recipe.

All pizzas are hand tossed and topped with only the best ingredients and cooked on a stone deck oven. Customers can order by the slice and create their own perfect slice of pizza, but be warned, our slices are cut from a 30 inch pizza and are bigger than any you have ever seen! We also serve calzones and stromboli in addition to a variety of subs and salads.
Services
If you would like to schedule a challenge call Big Pie in the Sky at 770-420-8883. Typically they are scheduled at 3:30 and 8:30 Monday - Thursday to avoid peak times. Exceptions on day and time can be made for special circumstances. Please speak to a manager or use our contact form and we will do our best to work with you!

We have been here once before and it was really good. We stopped for dinner tonight. Ordered three slices and some Califlower cheese bread. The cheese bread came first and was really good. Two of our slices came out. Not mine. Had to go check on it after my kids were almost done eating. They said the first slice ripped. The second one they remade fell on the floor. So they were making it again. I had to get mine to go as we had plans to be somewhere in a few minutes. I was disappointed that no one had come to tell me about and I had to check on it. The piece I ended carrying out didn&apos

Great atmosphere and even better food! The service was nothing short of perfection. The guy behind the register, I believe his name was James, took care of our every need with a smile that lit up the room. Whether you are grabbing a quick slice to go or a meal for your family, Big pie is the place to be. And James is your Go-to guy.

As the name suggests, their thing is making super large pizzas. But... that's about it, as far as I can tell. I'm not sure why some people swear by their pizza. Their pizza is honestly pretty average.
I've had their pizza several times. Always big in size, no doubt about that, but always pretty average in flavor. There are better pizza places around.
If you don't need an obscenely large pizza for a party or something, just go to Partners.

So unfortunately I'm giving my favorite pizza place 2 stars. The place was a mess! Unsanitary. And while watching them make there famous 30" pizza- which cannot be easy to do. They actually have to stand outside the kitchen to do make it. The pizza dough actually hit the floor for a second but still wouldn't want that bite. It looks Ed as though a party had been held in the dining area and no one had cleaned it up. Floor and tables were a mess. Really bummed.

We made a reservation for 25 with ease and they were amazing and accommodating. We had a meatball sub, Buffalo chicken sub and both were perfect. The pizza are amazing and the kids (and adults) loved the size of the slices. We drove an hour to get there but we definitely think it’s worth it! Loved it .

Went here to get pizza after watching Man vs. Food. They serve a thin crispy crust of pizza with a healthy amount of toppings. You definitely only need one slice per person.
Unless you're dining in, it's best to order your pizza before you get there.

Drove from Duluth to this place and I can definitely tell you you will not be disappointed! Of course I got the 30’ whole pizza. It comes with 8 slices. My partner and I were only able to eat 3 slices and a half! I can normally eat 5 slices of normal size pizza. With our leftovers we practically had a whole medium pizza! The staff were all nice and friendly. I definitely would come back again!

You have to bring a big family . It feeds 6 to 8 people to eat this . Unless you do the challenge. You could win $150.00. So come and try it . Only you and one other person. On this challenge. It's 30" round . All meat

I order a huge pie, half was regular and the other half was sherred chicken. My wife liked the cheese sliced and I enjoy both.
The staff was very professional and helpful.

The place is very unassuming in appearance... not the cleanest looking spot I've been in that's for sure.... But the PIE is amazingly HUGE to say the least... I went with the LUNCH SPECIAL of ONE SLICE and a drink.... Did I say the PIE is HUGE.... Well this 1 slice was like eating 2 regular slices and it was HUGE, but I've already said that haven't I .....
It overall is about 2 grades below MELLOW MUSHROOM the way the vibe is ....the people that work there etc.....
THE SLICE was thin, and hot when it arrived ... it tasted like a NY style pie...it was good and a nice crispy crust

Their service has become terrible. The staff is some of the less friendly and unacomidating.Even on a slow night the wait time for a whole pizza is always an hour plus. I've been coming for 10 years but tonight will be the last time I eat here.

Been going here for years and stopped in today for a 30" pepperoni pie. $40. We are told 25-30 minutes as there was a late afternoon rush going on. Good crowd for Saturday at 3:00 IMO. We sit and eat our salads and drink our drinks. An hour passes and it's calmed down, but no pizza. I asked if it was coming when they realized they didn't cook it. What? The colorful haired girl had her head down on the counter when we got there, so she probably fell asleep passing the order to the cook. Bunch of employees doing nothing. I ask for a refund. She offers cash. She gives it

I love the thin style huge slices but I wish they would at least cook the veggie toppings just a bit with the pizza and throw a little cheese on top of the toppings to hold them in place because they just slide right off when you eat it. The veggies are also raw every time I order veggie toppings. Besides that the pizza is fantastic so maybe stick to pepperoni / cheese or Buffalo chicken without veggies.

I have been here to enjoy the largest pizza in Atlanta. We had a large pizza for 4, they also offer an extra large 30 inch pizza which is their special. Taste was good, they have their own signature to it and thank god that’s a thin crust. Could improve the ambiance.

I was on a road trip with a buddy and we stayed with a friend of his. My hosts recommended this place for dinner since there was at least six of us (possibly more) and the 30" pizza would be more than enough should more people arrive.

There was talk of the carnivore but my host's wife vetoed that-too much meat. We eventually got a pizza with pepperoni and Italian sausage. We rolled up to the storefront and our pizza wasn't quite finished yet so we waited around a little. You figure 30" isn't too bad, height-wise it's underwhelming, but the second you see a two and

A big thank you to the crew who worked last night for being kind and gracious. My husband had just been discharged after spending several days in the ICU and surviving a very serious medical issue. He wanted pizza.., pizza from Big Sky. The crew working on Thursday night demonstrated compassion and kindness when they learned about this. I won't get into all the details but please know how much your kindness is appreciated.
And by the way... the pizza was delicious as it always is. Hit the spot and made his day.

First time visiting today, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The pizzas are huge, 20" pizzas! I also ordered a cobb salad, which was excellent. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and there is enough space between tables to eat safely distanced. I definitely will be returning if I'm back in the area!

I came here with my colleagues for lunch one day before COVID and could not believe how big the pizzas were! I guess I should have gotten the hint when my boss was a little too excited :D

We ordered several pizzas, shared, and brought the rest back to our coworkers. It was pretty good fresh and it's pizza so I'm sure it'll still be pretty good in a few hours.

Great pizza! If you like thin, NY style pizza, Big Pie is where it's at. Great tasting and great crispy crust. I enjoy it because it is not a real heavy pie that makes you feel too full after eating it. Perfect pizza to order if you are having people over and need multiple pies.

Been going here since it opened, knew original owners and crew. What a long painful journey it's been since they are no longer there. Final visit was 2 nights ago, kids wanted me to pick up some pies they ordered. Two 20" to be exact. Picked them up, went home, opened up and wow. Burned to a nice hue, with charcoal as a topping, and instead of the 20" that were ordered and paid for, I got two 16" pies. Sent their Facebook page a message for a chance to rectify- no response. Guess they could care less.
Sad because their pizza used to be fantastic- finally a true NY style

Okay so -- Quantity does not mean quality. But that doesn't mean quantity can't mean satisfying. My friend from Acworth is a big fan of this place and he was craving pizza as usual so when I visited him, he had to show me this place.

The pizza is hugeeeeeeeeeeeee. I know it's called Big Pie in the Sky and all but I wasn't expecting those sizes. My friend and I custom built a "large" pizza with basil, spinach, and chicken. I was already nervous because it sounded like a lot of food, and although it was, the bill was surprisingly not as big as what I thought it would
