I do not recommend this company at all. Greedy and unethical business practices led me to be pressured into something I did not want to do. The houses look nice but are made from the absolutely cheapest materials and practices possible. A closer look will reveal that for yourself. A local home inspector told me to run the opposite direction of anything this builds - also from their second company Interra Homes. The “warranty” is a scam. Read the fine print and ask to see it before signing a contract. For example, they will only fix a crack in the foundation if it is multiple inches wide?? That

A recent posted poor (2 star rating) review (5 days ago) was not done by me, Lonnie Holton, and not sure where it came from.
Our 3+ year old home was build by Tibbe Homes (now JTB) as a spec home in 2018 on Boulder Ridge and bought by the previous owners who moved the next year to a condo, whereby we bought their home.
Because JTB+ was so very helpful in following through on questions, referrals and two or three small repairs (at no cost, even though out of warranty), I gave them two or three, 5 star ratings, with excellent reviews, for their help.
Those 5 star ratings have all now dissappeared

Poor/lazy work ethic, extremely unprofessional on the business end. I wonder if the builder knows how these “realtors” talk to prospective clients? Perhaps they have so much business that they can afford to treat people terrible, refuse to answer any questions or come up with any coherent answers. If you want to be ripped off, treated like you’re a waste of time and rushed into signing a contract, this is the place for you.

I have worked with a few other new / custom homes builders locally and had good experiences, but JTB (used to be called Jim Tibbe) is not one I would recommend at all. I am not one to leave reviews typically but I think others should be aware before they sign a contact with a builder to build their home, or move into a home that was built by this company. I would recommend doing your research and know what you are getting in to - cheapest materials on the market, no attention to detail, poor communication, unfair warranties, terrible customer service, price inflation that is boarding theft. Only

I used JTB for a new home build in the Ravines subdivision. This is the 3rd time I have done a new home build. I would recommend Roersma and Wurn before recommending JTB. All of the time spent going over blue prints is a waste of time since they are not followed. One of the reasons I went with JTB was the sign off of the blue prints figuring it would make the process easier. You are charged a fee plus the cost of the change if you make a change if they make a change oh well that’s just the way it goes. I found the communication during the construction process not what I was told it would be,

My parents just bought a JTB home and what we thought would be a smooth process has not been. Their customer service is terrible and that doesn’t go a long way when your quality control fails as well. There are so many issues to list but to say the least my husband and I are no longer considering them to build our home nor will we be recommending them. They have truly been a horrible team to work with. My parents have been treated poorly and have not been taken seriously from the start. We all wish they would have gone with someone else.
