After graduating from college, she moved to attend the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2016. Dr. Michelle McKenzie was born and raised in Lilburn, Georgia.

A dental cleaning is a professional cleaning you receive from a dentist or dental hygienist. Most routine dental cleanings take less than an hour. Our dentists may suggest an extraction after careful examination and treatment-usually taking x-rays to understand the tooth's shape, position and surrounding bone before extracting the tooth.
Custom-designed mouth guards are made of durable plastic and molded to fit the shape of your teeth. Mouth guards are recommended to protect the jaw, tongue, cheek lining and teeth during physical activity and sports such as lacrosse, football, basketball, boxing or other activities where your mouth might get hit.

My first visit. The staff was friendly, welcoming and efficient. My hygienist was very nice, always checking to make sure I was comfortable. She was very gentle while doing my cleaning. Dr. Abbott was also very pleasant and gentle.while doing my exam.
I had been suffering some tooth pain. They diagnosed the issue and made recommendations. I was able to get a follow up appointment soon.
They strongly recommend I get water pick. They do not sell them there so they weren't recommending it just to sell me something.

Excellent experience at this beautiful office. I had virtually no wait time, the assistant was very nice and made me feel comfortable. The hygienist seemed knowledgeable and did a great job cleaning my teeth. They go above and beyond to make sure you are safe, even taking your blood pressure prior to performing any procedures. Only saw the dentist for a minute, but I was only there for a routine.cleaning. would definitely recommend this office to anyone.

Recently moved to GA and I'm so glad I found Suwanee Family Dentistry! From beginning to end, they were very thorough and informative of procedures, cost, and the facility. It was a great experience and one that I don't believe I've ever received in my previous experiences elsewhere. I've been going to this practice for over 10 years and recommend it to anyone. Dr. Herrington is knowledgeable and professional. I love Debra Callum as my hygienist. She is super sweet and very gentle. My teeth always look great after she is done with them.
Appointment scheduling is simple and the front office always works out everything with my insurance provider. I've done my yearly exams, teeth whitening and InvisAlign braces with them. They are the best!!

I'm extremely nervous about the dentist in general after past experiences but after my first visit here I feel comfortable getting my teeth back up to par. Everyone from the Doctor to the huge fist to the front office was fantastic. Everyone made me feel great and everyone took time to answer my questions. Sometimes you'll see the doctor rush in and out and that was not the case at all.

They are hands down the best dentist office I have been to. They were organized from the start, thorough and professional. Everything went smoothly and everyone there was so pleasant. And the office itself is so clean, up to date technology and even gave me an oral cancer screening. Would highly recommend them.

I discovered Suwanee Family Dentistry just by Google searching for dentists in the area when I had an urgent dental problem. The receptionist was so nice. She seemed concerned for my personal comfort and booked me an appointment the very next day. Considering how popular they are I was very surprised to be seen so soon! My husband and I have been going here for almost 10 years. We're even coming after moving 60 miles away! Before coming to Suwanee Family I had some painful experiences and was just about ready to quit going to a dentist. But I gave Suwanee Family a try. Their gentle hygienists have never hurt me. The are ahead of technology too so they have the latest equipment. The office is spotless and the staff is sweet. You won't be disappointed.
