Primary teeth are often called "baby teeth" because they fall out as children grow older. That does not mean these teeth are not important. In fact, keeping primary teeth healthy and intact can play a big part in the development and eruption of permanent teeth. Decay is very common in childhood and should be taken seriously.

Dr Jones has been a proponent of early orthodontic intervention for over 30 years. Mouth guards are just as important as any protective gear. They protect children's teeth, lips, cheeks, tongue and jaw from injury and fracture. Mouth guards can also prevent concussions. Research shows that most oral injuries occur when athletes are not wearing mouth protectors. We offer a custom fit sports guard for a very low cost to our patients.
We know that going to the dentist can be scary for any child. However, many children with special needs find dental visits especially challenging. Routine sounds and sensations often trigger strong, unexpected reactions. Our compassionate staff has the experience needed to deal with hard visits. Over the years, we have grown close to many of our special needs patients and their families.

My sister was seen by Dr. Jones recently, she's a senior, wrong choice. Was more focused on money than patient. Very uncaring, my 64 year old Sis was physically screaming and crying out in pain while having tooth extracted...so sad. Dr. Finished, never once came back in to check on her. Very unprofessional to her assistants. I would not recommend her to anyone. Best part is, my Sis went to a professional dentist today, had 4 teeth extracted, no pain, great experience.

Dr. Jones was awesome for my son's consultation and it has been downhill from there. She is so rude and argumentative with her staff and behaves thus way publicly and loudly. She also doesn't even speak to the patients. My son had a special situation with his braces and I will say that she does make sure it gets done right. However, she has absolutely no bedside manner AT ALL!!! The ortho techs were the only thing that kept me coming back. They were both so sweet.

Most horrible dental experience my children have EVER had...and that I’ve EVER had to watch as a mother! Hygienists and Dr. Jones were equally rude and unprofessional. Telling my kids “it’s just a little blood...stop being so dramatic!” And things of that sort. My 13 and 6 yr old will not be returning here! Lawrenceville Pediatric Dentistry is the BEST dentist for kids...if you’re looking!

I am beyond satisfied with the service provided at Dentistry 4 Kids. Dr. Winter is the first dentist who was able to calm my 4-year-old toddler and get her comfortable. He's very patient and kid friendly in addition to informative. He explained every detail about my child's teeth and development. I highly recommend Dr. Winter for anyone who has a toddler with the fear of a dentist visit. By the end of our visit, my daughter did not want to leave the office!

The Doctor is extremely patient with the kids and informs them every step of the way. I bring my 1 1/2 year old and 7 year old here A few nurses can be a little rough but the listen when you tell them to ease up. I guess not everyone can be exactly like the Dr. himself but overall very pleased. Even wait time isn't stressful. Could upgrade the waiting area for the kids but still giving 5 starts. Great play area in the back where simple cleaning is done.

I bring my daughter to this Dentist. Let me just say it was an overall amazing experience. Kevin, one of the assistants, was so kind and got along great with my daughter. He made her feel comfortable and laugh. Just an amazing person. And the head Dentist was absolutely amazing as well. Kept calm, talked my daughter through things, let her know everything will be okay. I definitely recommend this dentist to anyone looking for one themselves or for their child!

As always our visit today was a very pleasant experience. But dentist was very knowledgeable and the dental assistant was very funny and he kept things light hearted and comfortable for us. I highly recommend dentistry for kids. My daughter has been a patient there for several years now. The office is also very nice to look at. In back is Hi-Tech and there's a play area for the children.

I absolutely love the hygienists that work here-they are amazingly enthusiastic, attentive, and make my little girls feel at ease throughout the entire process. The dentist and receptionists are great as well, but I love the extra attention from the hygienists and truly think they are going above and beyond!!! I don’t ever have to wait very long and my daughters love to go because it is a fun experience for them. Thanks Dentistry 4 kids!! :)
