Simply terrible and unreliable. Decided to give them a second chance after they were 45 min late coming to pick me up last year for an early morning flight (had already driven myself to airport). My mistake. Scheduled 6:30 AM pickup and call at 6:35.... basically the guy has my info but had not dispatched a car. Driver shows up at 7 and luckily I had built a 30 min buffer into my travel plans so I did not miss my flight. Then the driver tried to rip me off. I called him on it and he backed down. NEVER AGAIN. I'll be taking an Uber or Lyft from now on!!

The driver was 5 mins late and never apologized. He also never bothered to turn on the GPS (I mentioned this once) and I had to give directions the whole time. At the end of the trip he mentioned he was not part of the company and was doing this for a friend as a favor. I really appreciate them showing up, albeit late, getting us to the airport safely, and being nice however if I wanted to give directions in a place I don't even live myself I would have driven myself. I really do wish this service would be better.

Was very surprised by the unprofessional driver. We got this taxi from taxi stand. Driver had the radio blaring so loud he couldn't hear us. Had to ask him to turn it down! Then didn't know where Davis Dr and Morrisville parkway was. Had problems putting it into GPS, then on way there missed the gps directions twice. Looked down across at passenger seat to check phone swerving in lane. Then his credit card swiper doesn't work! Worse experience I've ever had with RDU taxi. I take them 15-20 times per year. May go back to booking uber.

I use them to get early morning pickups to the airport at least twice a month. I always call instead of using the online booking, and I think I've had the cab be more than a minute or two late maybe once out of at least 60 times. I get text messages when they're on their way which is nice (the one bad experience I didn't get a text so at least I had some warning that something was wrong). Never had any problems with the drivers or the driving.
I rarely use them FROM the airport because Uber is about half the cost-- but there aren't enough Uber cars in my neighborhood area

I called and reserved a 12pm pick up. My flight was at 2pm. At 12:55pm I called my brother-in-law to give my wife and I an emergency pick up because RDU Taxi still didn't show up. Between 12 and 12:55, on repeated check ins with RDU taxi dispatch they told us they were 5-10 minutes away. At 1:00pm I called and cancelled the RDU taxi. At 1:01pm RDU taxi called and said they were 5 minutes away and asked if I was sure I wanted to cancel...

This company is hit or miss. Sometimes their online ordering works, sometime it doesn't. Sometime they show up, sometimes not. Never early, rarely on time, usually 5 mins late. My latest experience we waited 10 mins past the time of pick up, called and were told they had no taxis to dispatch (5 am with confirmed reservation). We started to drive ourselves and we got a call on the way that they could be there in another 15 mins. I would not depend on them completely, if have a back up in place or not use them.

Scheduled a cab the night before. The next morning the cab never showed up. When called they said it didn't show up on gps. Did they ever think of calling? I've had other companies come out. When we called to cancel they didn't even care that the flight was missed and cost us 200 dollars more for a later flight. Real classy. They actually hung up on me. Never use this company!

Funny how a 4- or 5-star review can drop to 1 so quickly. I used these guys a couple of times for rides to the airport, and they were always on time and courteous. The third time, though, no one showed up for my 5:30am pickup. At 5:35, I called the number on my reservation confirmation email and was told that not only did I NOT have a reservation, but I called the wrong company. He told me that the phone number that I just called him on, the one from the confirmation email, was not his company. I don't understand.

I hate giving one-star reviews. I normally only post a bad review if I have multiple bad experiences. I suppose I am a glutton for punishment. Most people would have stopped giving RDU taxi chances after their second major screw-up or their third.
The drivers are surly. They get lost and blame you, even though the address you provided can be found on google maps very easily. They show up late or not at all for early-morning pick-up times. There is no cheerfulness here.
The best thing I can say about RDU taxi is that they keep it fresh. You never know how they are going to screw you over this

The major advantage to RDU taxi is that there are usually taxis ready and able to take you to your final destination from each of the terminals. The wait is negligible unless it's particularly busy, even late at night.
The downside is that it, just like all of the local taxi services, are pricey if you're trying to get somewhere beyond, say, Durham. A ride from RDU to Chapel Hill will cost about $40-50 after tip. The fare adds up very quickly.
But, if you need to get somewhere quickly, it works. If not, check the bus schedule to see when the next bus arrives, and then use that to
