I am a frontline healthcare provider. I was given a script for Jobst stockings and told I needed to be fitted for them; this establishment was recommended. I went directly arriving at 9:15 AM,entered the store to find no other patrons. I told the woman working what I needed, was told they would need to see if my insurance company would cover and I would need an appointment. I informed her I was prepared to pay for the stockings and would appreciate it if I could be measured while there. She said no..I need an appointment which would be any morning. Since I have my own patient load beginning at

My Dr. sent in a prescription for a compound medication. This pharmacy could not fill it. Despite the fact I called to make sure they got the prescription I didn’t find out they couldn’t fill it till I called back a day later to check in it as they told me it could take up to three days. Both people I talked to on the phone were nice however, it’s just poor customer service not to let me know they could not fill this.

Physician's office sent prescription Monday am to Anchor at Washington Heights. Since prescriptions take them awhile to process, I decided to wait a day or so to pick up. Instead, I just returned empty handed today, Friday at 3:30pm, as it had not yet been filled. When I stated that this came through 4 1/2 days ago, how could this be, counter lady in green shirt told me they have enough business to result in this. If I wanted to wait, it would be ready in 30 minutes. When I told her it was an absurdity that this was not ready today, she expressed sorrow that I felt that way. I indicated I'd return

If I could have given no stars I would have.
Truly one of the worst experiences of customer service I’ve ever encountered.
Lady at the front desk was pleasant but one of the female pharmacist was absolutely unprofessional. Had a prescription called in on a Friday, arrive the following Tuesday afternoon to pick it up, and they had not filled it let alone printed it. They told me I would have to wait at least an hour for it to be filled. When I asked if they would call when it was ready she said no were to busy. When I asked why it wasn’t filled yet despite being sent on Friday she said they

They greet me by name, they're courteous, and they care.
That said, it's a privately owned pharmacy. It might be a little bit more expensive and your selection might be a little bit lower. But at the end of the day, they're fast and they'll spend time with you. You don't get the same level of service at a big chain.
I've been going here since I was five years old and some of the same people still work here and they're just is nice now as they were then.

There are other pharmacies in the area but those are cold, sterile places with no soul. I love this place because they have a lot of stuff not carried anywhere else. Medications and olde tyme candies I’ve found there. The people are friendly and if they don’t have your medication on hand they will order it for you with generally a 1 day turnaround.
