We are a compounding pharmacy who is independently owned and operated and have been in business since 1975. The pharmacy was started by registered pharmacist, Irvin Yospa, P.D. at that time and is now owned by his son registered pharmacist, Eric Yospa, P.D. We have vast experience in many types of prescription compounding and currently emphasize such fields as: Transdermal Pain Creams, Hormone Replacement Therapy and Veterinary Compounding.
An estimated 50 percent or more of medications for chronic conditions, such as high cholesterol and diabetes, are not taken as prescribed. Medication non-adherence can lead to worsening health conditions, hospitalizations and death. Whatever the reason is for medication non-adherence, we have a solution for you.
Medication therapy management, otherwise known as MTM, is a term used for a program to help you manage your medications and health conditions. Do you want to know how best to take your medications to get the most from your medications?. Would you like to have a complete list of the medications you take for your personal use?.
When it comes to disease prevention, immunizations are key. Getting vaccinated protects you and those around you. Our main focus is to help you and your loved ones stay up-to-date on the recommended vaccines. We offer a variety of immunizations. Our highly qualified staff can easily administer these immunizations here at the pharmacy.
You may find that you have been prescribed a number of medications, and that you need to take them at different times of the day. It can be difficult to keep track of what medication you need to take and when. We offer a multi-dose packaging that bundles your medications together by date and time. For example, all your medications that are to be taken in the morning will be packaged together in one pack.

Thanks for ignoring me when I walked in and stood at the drop off window... all 5 of you. Then asked if I was dropping off I said we where there for a covid test you told me that was at the drive thru window which is information not provided on my voucher sheet or your rapid test sign out front. I went to the drive thru and again had to wait for someone to assist. No customers where inside so not sure the issue. Also if someone is infront of you and then the phone rings. You tell the person on the phone to hold unless a medical emergency

I have dealt with many pharmacies over the years, but Family Pharmacy of Hampstead far and away offers the very best customer service and a wonderful pharmacist, Eric Yospa, who happily answers any questions or concerns you might have. I drive to Hampstead from Owings Mills because it's worth the trip for top notch service!

I cannot say enough great things about this pharmacy. I have been both a patient and a prescriber to this pharmacy for over 10 years. The environment is clean and warm and the staff is welcoming and very helpful. All of these factors make this pharmacy stand out as compared to the big chain pharmacies. Eric Yospa is an excellent pharmacist and is clearly an expert in his field as he is extremely knowledgeable regarding medications and drug interactions and this is very useful both as a patient and a practitioner. Eric always goes the extra step and takes as much time as needed to explain things

Horrible customer service - came in after leaving the doc's being diagnosed with the flu to get RX filled. Tuesday early afternoon with 5 people working behind the counter and no one would speak to me. Made me wait WITH THE FLU for over 40 minutes for my Tamiflu to be filled when I could barely stand. My RX bag sat in front of attendant for over 10 minutes while she talked around me putting her regulars in front of me. Pharmacist couldn't tell me what my diagnosis meant. **This place of business also does not accept coupons to lower out of pocket costs on BC medications. NOTHING about this business
