As you drive through beautiful downtown Baroda, Michigan, you'll see a mural of two ladies chillin', dressed in red & white, enjoying a bottle of wine. Chill Hill, the new kid on the block in Baroda, opened in June of 2019 but is no stranger to the area or the industry! One thing people don't know about Chill Hill is that the owners, Ashley & Norma, are a grandmother, granddaughter duo!
You certainly don't hear of that too often, but family tradition; a passion for wine cultivated over generations is the core of Chill Hill. East of the Rocky Mountains with nearly 400 acres, producing over 30 different varietals of wine grapes. Arrowhead Vineyard was established by James Nitz & began growing juice grapes in 1970.

I have visited several times while in the beautiful South West Michigan wine region.
I appreciated the knowledge and attention I was given sampling wines and hard ciders❣️
I also loved the outdoor wine stomping festival🍇 The sheer entertainment of the competitors along with the band, and of course my personal favorite was the hard cider slushy, throw the tacos in and I was in heaven!!
Can’t wait to visit again👍🏻🍷
