Synergy Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy is a Physical Therapy Clinic providing rehabilitation and recovery services to residents of Chester County, PA. Jeff Chiappa PT, DPT, MS is the owner of Synergy Sports & Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Jeff has been an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist for 19 years. Synergy has been in business for 3 years and has enjoyed amazing growth. Jeff specializes in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine and has a direct access license from the state of Pennsylvania that allows him to treat clients without a physician referral.
Dr. Kauffman is originally from Etters, PA. At a young age he had an inherent drive to help others from watching his parents go out of their way to help family, friends and neighbors. His interest for the Physical Therapy Field developed after hearing stories his grandmother often shared from her days as an Occupational Therapist and the deep impact she made on her patients' lives.

Tore my achilles playing soccer in July and chose Synergy to help me with the recovery process. The treatment plans included many different ROM exercises and graston technique. I have been extremely happy with my recovery and would highly recommend Jeff at Synergy. He’s very knowledgeable and has all the tools and equipment to help with the recovery.

I developed a sciatica problem that started right after I had heart surgery. My GP recommended Dr. Jeff at Synergy I began a treatment regimen with Dr Jeff and after a few weeks of his care I’m much much better. Going to Synergy was a pleasant experience thanks to Dr Jeff’ and his staff’s pleasant manner and professionalism.

This was my first time at physical therapy and I am thankful I called Synergy! Not only is the staff helpful and kind, they are knowledgeable about what they’re doing! Ronnie, Jeff and Amy are amazing and I kind of want to hurt myself again just to go back and receive the best care! You won’t go wrong choosing Synergy!

Synergy in Malvern has been an awesome experience for me. Dr. Jeff Is amazing, well trained, knowledgeable and kind. Everyone of the trainers, front desk receptionist Amy and all that work here are not only are great at what they do, but also welcoming and well trained professionals. I’ve had some major back surgeries and this place makes me feel at home and at ease. It truly is the best PT I’ve ever received, and the level of compassion is outstanding. It s also a fun, environment and clean place to feel warm and relaxed while knowing you are in good hands!!!!💞

Jeff Chiappa is professional, knowledgeable and personable and will get you back to where you need to be. Jeff and Craig work with you, combining exercises, stretches and hands on manipulations to restore your strength, mobility and function. The atmosphere is amazing, with a friendly, fun, community feel and the space is clean and bright and sanitary. I’ve used synergy for three rehabs in the past few years and my results have been incredible. Top notch

Personalized care from the time I stepped in the door. Every single person at Synergy is focused on your individual rehab. They want to know about you as a person so they can tailor your treatment plan. I had a long, hard recovery from meniscus root repair surgery and Jeff, Craig, Danielle and Amy made sure I succeeded. No one gave up on me. They are realistic and encouraging and a lot of fun, which is helpful considering how long rehab takes! SYNERGY......Perfect name for Jeff and his staff. They exude synergy! From the moment I spoke on the phone with the secretary to meeting Jeff and his professional staff, I knew I was in the best place for therapy. Along with the professionalism, there was a great atmosphere of humor and a sense of belonging to a family. Compassionate care is felt and a flexible schedule is never a problem.
