Jeff was very professional and knowledgeable. I thought I knew what the problem was and he suggested another type of problem. In the end it was a very simple fix and he wouldn't take any payment for his time and expertise even though I had to leave it with him for a few days until he could get to it for a thorough check. I have to give a bit of background first, Best Buy told me my laptop was unable to be repaired. It is a $2500.00 ASUS Laptop to use CAD programs for design, that I purchased from Best Buy. My warranty was 3 days passed, and I couldn't get there earlier due to Covid. The "Geek" knew I was working from home, this computer was my only income, and I became distraught with what he told me. Made me feel that I had to immediately by another computer, in order to save my hard drive and get everything downloaded from the "broken" computer.

I forgot my password on my computer and Jeff was very nice & speedy (I got it back the same day) in fixing my issues & even though there is construction going on, I'm glad I made the drive. Had PC paramedix work on my custom gaming rig after losing a power supply and motherboard. He did a great job, lead time to fix and overall costs were pretty reasonable, costs were lower than some of his competitors, and up front he seemed very knowledgable. Last shop i used when i walked in with my gaming rig the guy says wow ive never seen ine of these before... Ever had a phone that wouldn't charge? Or charged intermittently? Frustrating right? My son's Samsung Galaxy 3 was getting flaky on charging, so we took it to the PC Paramedix and they fixed his phone same day!
Sounds like they can do common simple repairs same day or next day, but it's pretty much an one man operation, so it may take longer if he's backed up. Need a new charging port? Or a replacement headphone jack?
