At The Pretty Kitty, we do things a little differently than most waxing establishments. Many people are surprised & sometimes skeptical to learn that we use soft wax instead of hard wax, which is a more common and easier to use wax for the Brazilian. We use a high quality soft Italian cream wax designed for sensitive skin.
Using a soft wax for a full Brazilian requires skill if it is to be done well. Many estheticians have never been properly trained in the right technique using soft wax and therefore reject its use for the full Brazilian. With the proper prepping of the skin and my proprietary technique, not only is pain minimized, but it is also more efficient and gentle than using hard wax.

The Brazilian wax originated in a place where tiny bikinis are worn and the incredible rate at which it has gained in popularity can leave little doubt that there is truly something special about it. The Brazilian wax basically takes it ALL away sometimes leaving just a tiny strip of closely shorn hair in the front (which is then referred to by some as a "landing strip", a "playboy" or inverted "v").

It had been some time since visiting the Pretty Kitty since moving over to Tustin. I would still get the emails for the Brea location and knew it had been long overdue. Denise was my esthetician and she was so thorough and kind! I was embarrassed at how grown out I had let it become but she was so easing of that worry. Can't wait to come back to see Denise! Kept up the great work girl :)

My favorite! Been coming to this location for almost 4 years. Lena is my waxer and has been for about a year. She is quick, thorough, funny and so easy to talk to hahaha let's admit, it's not that comforting when you have someone who isn't your husband down there! Did I mention she's quick though? That's most important. Ever had a slow wax? Ouch...

Been here a couple of times with no issues. However this time just made up for the other two times being great lol.
So, Made an appt, showed up on time.
Had dinner reservations, almost missed it.
I understand that appointments can run behind but the frustrating part is they did not proactively communicate that. I had to ask if they were running behind, then she disappears into the back, phone rings so loudly and they don't answer it.
I'm waiting as it is getting closer to our dinner reservation.
She finally comes out from the back, I then let her know that we have reservations to

It was my first time ever doing a Brazilian and Brooke made me feel better during the process. She's really professional, super fast, and a really experienced. She even made sure to get every hair, even the stubborn stubble afterwards. 15/10 experience I love this place!

Called over the weekend to come in and book an appointment. Shortly after, got a call that they had to cancel, as they had double booked me. Um Ok.
I rebook for today, three days later.
They call me yesterday to reconfirm, and I confirm this morning.
Guess what, they just called to cancel AGAIN. This time the excuse us " because of COVID rules, we have to close at 6pm. Huh?
Trying to figure out what in the extra shady is going on, I call the property management company and ask if they close early for COVID. He says no, it's up to the business to do so.
What?!
I ended up cancelling
