Located in Stoughton, Wisconsin, our company started as a small family-owned business in 1961 and is now one of the industry's leading manufacturers of conventional and intermodal transportation equipment including semi trailers. We have 9 different facilities in the South Central Wisconsin cities of Stoughton, Evansville and Brodhead combining for over 1.3 million square feet of manufacturing space under roof.
In 1960, Don and Carol Wahlin began what has become their sixty year journey as the founders of Stoughton Trailers. Shortly after graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1960 with a degree in Engineering, Don began working as an engineer for Moe, Parley and Moe Corporation (MPM), formerly Stoughton Cab & Body.
We have been in the industry a long time, and that experience has given us the insight needed to truly understand the demands our customers need to meet. And since we know what demands need to be met, we know how to design, engineer and manufacture our products you need to get the job done.
