Todd Funeral Home, Inc. had its beginning in 1932 when Lawrence D. Sheets started a funeral home on Bridge Street in Bridgewater. My father, James R. 'JR' Todd, started working with Mr. Sheets in the mid 1930's. I joined my father full time in 1972, and when health problems forced him to retire, took over the business at that time, becoming the Todd Funeral Home, Inc.
I've tried to follow his example of care and compassion with the families I am privileged to serve. A death is one of the most difficult situations a person can face. No one can take the pain away; however, gentle guidance and assistance through the necessary steps of a funeral can help to lift the weight of uncertainty and provide some comfort.

Services
The caring and experienced professionals at Todd Funeral Home, Inc. are here to support you through this difficult time. We offer a range of personalized services to suit your family's wishes and requirements. You can count on us to help you plan a personal, lasting tribute to your loved one. And we'll carefully guide you through the many decisions that must be made during this challenging time.
The Todd Funeral Home is committed to you and your personal preferences as we work together to design a funeral service just the way you want it. Just as each one of us is different during our lives, at the time of death that difference should be remembered and celebrated. Families are encouraged to create a ceremony that acknowledges how important the loved one was within their lives and the community.
We offer a wide variety of caskets both in our casket selection room on site and from various vendors. Vaults are required by cemeteries and come in a number of styles, ranging from concrete grave liners to bronze lined and capped vaults. We will be glad to explain the vaults available and their differences.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

I recently purchased a flower arrangement through their web site. The flowers that showed up to the viewing looked nothing like the picture shown when I made my purchase. The one that showed up was so hideous I would have never bought it. I have reached out to the funeral home over a week ago and I'm still waiting for a response.
