Additional terms and rates are available. All personal loans have a $75 processing fee, which is deducted from the loan proceeds. Posted rates include a 0.25% discount for direct debit. Sample monthly payment for Personal Unsecured per $1,000 borrowed for 36 months @ 4.99% is $28.86. Smart-E Loan APR is based on creditworthiness, loan terms and project acceptance by the CT Green Bank Smart-e program.

1. Very mediocre experience with my mortgage. The loan agent didn't do anything in a timely fashion.
2. I was chastised twice for making cash withdrawals of over a certain amount of money.
3. The CANNOT perform international wire transfers.
4. Calling the main number is a joke. Its one of those "automated" menus that takes forever to get to a real person. I've had bad experiences on more than one occasion with the person who answered the phone. Not helpful. The last time I call the main number the customer service person even got snippy with me.

Terrible bank. I have deposited money twice that went missing. Once took cash through ATM, spit out my card and no receipt, another time my checks went missing for over a month till I started threatening to report them, then they were magically found in 10 minutes. They constantly block credit cards purchases for suspended fraud (many under $5) and since they don't have 24 hour customer service it's impossible to get help. Bank elsewhere.

About to switch banks- I have been a customer for many years, the personality of this bank has definitely changed. It used to have a heart and now does not- I had my son and daughter, one a new college graduate and my son, about to graduate, open accounts there. The bank decided a day early to pull a large payment from my daughter's account, she was paid today, and the day the payment was supposed to be made. Nope they already pulled it already and charged her an over draft fee...she doesn't have a lot of money, just starting out- my accounts do, and they showed no mercy towards the small account

The current manager, Sabrina, explained to me that there was a different manager there not too long ago, so I think MSCU needs a second consideration. My experiences so far have only been positive. Everyone, including Sabrina, are always more than willing to take the time to answer any questions. Although I’ve only just recently begun doing banking there, I’m quickly recognized by all of the employees and I feel very welcomed.

Have an auto loan through Mutual Security and had to contact the Westport Branch to get a copy of our car title. Brandon, the branch manager helped me tremendously and was extremely thorough, devoted and quick to find a resolution. They made it seamless for us and we're also easy to get a hold of and communicate with. I highly recommend them. 👍
