We hit bumps in the road that sometimes happen as early in life as our in utero or birth experiences, or as recently as the loss of a loved one or our job. We are complex beings with a diversity of experience, yet we have the commonality of our humanness in how our body, brain, and emotions are affected by the stress and pain that we encounter.
I am a fellow traveler on the path of healing. I bring my years of training and experience, and my heart and soul's passion for this work, to offer guidance in your personal journey. Whether the bumps in the road have been traumatic events or a general feeling of depression or anxiety, or anything in between, I welcome the richness of opportunity in helping others along their healing path.

Options for therapy may vary according to your particular needs. We can discuss the options and fees when you contact me prior to scheduling a first appointment. The following is a general idea of how I can be of service to you. You are responsible for the charge per session at the time of each session, unless we have made other arrangements.
I began seeing private clients in 1980 while still in training to become a psychotherapist. My original training is in Body-Centered Psychotherapy, an integration of Gestalt and Bioenergetics as developed and taught at Hartford Family Institute, LLP. I graduated from their Kansas City based training program in 1985 before moving to CT in 1988.
