Services
Horizon Nursing Services is a nurse registry licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration. We refer caregivers who provide private duty nursing services for clients in various continuum of care. We are a client focused nurse registry and we participate solely in the creation of healthier lives within our community.
Caregiver assistance with ADL's - Activities associated with Daily Living. ADL's are bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation and feeding. Our home health aides, nursing assistants and certified nursing assistants can assist you with all your ADL's as needed. Are you caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or Dementia?
Horizon Nursing Services only recruits caregivers that are fully trained and qualified. Caregivers are selected by conducting a face to face interview. Caregivers are thoroughly screened by performing a nationwide criminal background check through a state approved process. All licenses and references are verified prior to hiring.
Long Term care insurance can be a valuable asset to seniors in the event of a fall or illness that prompts surgery or a prolonged recovery period. It is difficult to determine how much care a senior can afford unless they know what their long term care insurance policy covers. At Horizon Nursing Services we work diligently with your Insurance Company to get you the most from your policy.
Your family member may still be living independently but needs assistance with some daily tasks or probably just needs a companion to stay connected and involved. Simply having a caregiver to sit and converse with, prepare a light meal, run errands or escort them to a doctor's appointment gives one a feeling of independence.

Horizon Nursing Services saved the day for my mom, and me! She was TOTALLY against having an aide to assist her and fought me tooth and nail. Marlene, Sandra and Ellen worked diligently to find us the perfect aide for her and we could not be any happier with her. Laika is kind, passionate, reliable, very caring & nurturing. Horizon Nursing Services listened to our needs and fullfilled perfectly.

I have nothing but praise and thanks for the service received from Horizon Nursing Services. My Dad passed earlier this year. He was 91 and while he had numerous physical ailments, he was sharp, clear headed and had a great sense of humor. I live in Los Angeles, my Dad had no interest in moving to L.A. or into a nursing facility, he wanted to stay in the condo he spent many wonderful years with my Mom, who passed in 2015. My Dad could not have stayed at home without the help of Horizon Nursing Services. They took time and care to get to know him and sent aides that were well suited for his needs
