We could not have been more pleased and grateful for the services provided over the years. The psychological evaluation was very insightful and will allow us to better direct our daughter's treatment. We wish we had done this years ago. Testing was done on the specific concerns I brought, not just a standard battery.
As a parent, it can be hard to know whether or not to be concerned about your child's feelings or behaviors. You may be seeing things that make you worry that your child is struggling - but you aren't quite sure what the problem is, or what kind of help your child needs. Many children experience intense feelings that they struggle to understand and to process.
Teens often come to us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or frustrated with situations that they have difficulty navigating. In teens, depression and anxiety can often be expressed as irritability or anger. Many teens struggle with academic stress, changing social dynamics, identity issues, self-doubt, and intense worry.
As a young adult, you know how complex and challenging the transition to independence and adulthood can be. Our young adult clients come to us with a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, identity concerns, trouble coping with change, and/or trauma.

Report
FamilyFirst has a tremendous and dedicated staff to whom we refer patients. The therapists and counselors are responsive, will pick up the phone and discuss patient care with me as the primary care provider (which is unusual but very important). Overall, I am glad to have them as a resource, particularly now as kids and families are suffering and need the essential care and support they provide.
