Little Jewels Childcare & Preschool
I love children! Children are precious "Little Jewels" that we are to cherish, love and respect! That is why it is my choice to be a childcare provider, and I have the education and experience to do just that. I'd like you to expect only the best care for your child, with the love, security, comfort and lasting relationships that only a home environment can provide.

As a mother myself, I understand the value of feeling confident about the care my child receives while I'm not with her. I have been a licensed child care provider since 1997, have a degree in "Early Childhood Education & Certificate in Child Development" and am a certified "Parent Educator of Positive Discipline".
Services
Your child will learn the wonders of colors, numbers and letters and apply their newfound knowledge in fun and engaging ways. Activities ranging from weekly gym lessons at the San Carlos Recreation Center, to child yoga and some spontaneous fun at the many parks in the bay area, or in my backyard, will let your child test and grow his or her physical abilities.
There may be no place like home for your child, but finding a quality in-home child care provider can be the next best thing. Many families tout the benefits of using family child care, where early childhood educators care for a smaller number of kids in the comfort of their home. Here are reasons to consider family care.

My boy went to Julie's daycare from age 2 to 3.
He was very well cared after there, from hot meals they cook, projects that kids get to do, and running around in their large backyard.
There are three teachers to take care to about less than a dozen kids and the teachers love each individual of them.
After all, what made this daycare great for my kiddo was the teachers, teacher Julie, Monika, and Patricia. They are dedicated, experienced, and loving.

Julie, Monica and Patricia watched our daughter for nearly two years from 22months to almost 4 years old.

Both my sons also went to daycare before preschool and so I have the benefit of comparing Little Jewels with those other SF based daycares.

And so it's with deep enthusiasm, appreciation and admiration that I rate Little Jewels as a top-notch daycare in the Peninsula.

The team is seasoned, loving, kind, modern, patient, communicative and trustworthy. Never did I worry about my daughter's well-being or her development. I especially loved the delicious and healthy home cooked hot

Julie is the best! She is extremely dedicated to the growth and learning of these kids. She takes them on various field trips such as to the museums, aquariums, zoos, pumpkin patches etc. every week. There is gym and library time too. There is a new theme/topic each month and various activities/projects that goes with it.
On top of that, Julie also provides nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks every day.

She and the other caregivers(who have been with her for years) are very caring, patient and loving towards these kids. And the love is mutual. Our son who is almost 3yrs (has been with her for

My daughter has been attending Little Jewels for nearly 2 years, and she is now 3 years old. I can't say enough good things about the caregivers and the daycare. It is so loving - it's like a family! They take the children on field trips to the zoo, the aquarium, children's museums, as well as to gymnastics weekly. It eliminates my "mom guilt" of not being able to do those things with my daughter since I'm working! :) The daycare is VERY clean and Julie takes safety seriously. The kids are always happy - it's not your typical daycare setting where you hear kids
