Services
Nick Ferrante Sr., born in Castel Frentano in 1920, first immigrated to the United States at age 13. Years later, Nick Sr. became a U.S. citizen and proudly served his country during World War II. Nick Sr. pioneered the family business in the 1960's and eventually opened Nick's Supermarket in Clinton, Maryland in the early 1970's.
We realize that our loyal customers have many options, and we greatly appreciate each and every one for choosing Nick's as a preferred merchant. We believe service is more than stocking the shelves once a day, or having only half of the available cash registers running. Over the years, we have vowed to never let service become an afterthought, implemented solely to rectify problems.

Alright! Nick's is awesome. AWESOME. The beer selection is something truly special. Like honestly, some of the most eclectic, exciting, and flavorful beer you can choose from this side of whatever the heck the closest river is. Potomac? Patuxent? Pomp and Circumstance? Also the lasagna. It's good lasagna. I should know -- I like lasagna. Also beer. Nice beer. Go to Nick's and buy some lasagna and nice beer. Enjoy. You're welcome. Also, how is that Office Depot still in business?

Best place for meats, deli, crab meat/seafood, italian food. The entire staff is great and friendly but the delivery crew is superior. Always friendly and the are fast without sacrificing quality. Deli closing at 4pm is ridiculous. If staffing is short leave it open til 6. People coming home from work need deli items.

Love this place for their deli, meat selection, and of course their wine and spirits. Glad this place opened since I used to drive all the way to their other location in Waldorf. I always get a sandwich, my favorite is the button popper, and sausages, my favorite being the filipino sausage Longoria. When buying groceries, always consider the local market to get the best of Calvert!!

They have a little bit of everything here. Full service deli and butcher. Their sandwiches from the deli are amazing; the butchers are knowledgeable and very sociable. Pay attention to their sales you can get some GREAT deals on everything from chicken wings to filet mignon! In the front they have the "odd ball" stuff like Cornish hens, frog legs...pretty much anything you can think of and if you don't see it there ask the guys at the meat counter they can probably order it for you.
