The breakfast menu was amazing!! Blue Crab quiche and chicken and waffles!!

Great people great service great food prepared the way it should be and dog friendly !!

I was in town for a business meeting and couldn't miss the opportunity for some fresh oysters. The restaurant is only doing pre-orders/pick-up, but their food truck was in full swing.
I ordered the oyster sandwich with a side of remoulade. The outside seating was a bit limited, but have no fear...I found myself a nice shady spot by the water to enjoy this awesome sandwich. Worth every penny!

The food was very good --- but .
There was no inside seating for some reason. Its well past the time when any restaurant doesn't allow inside dining.
Although the food was good it was overpriced. Two oyster po- boys , two beers and a very small order of fried green tomatoes ( 2 slices) came to $ 64.
The outside seating did not have any overhead covering so you sat in the direct sun (or rain ?) Will look elsewhere next time.

Fantastic food; ggreat seafood; calamari from Point Judith, RI is delicious; great local beef, Crab cakes are terrific; great wine and beer selection; fantastic french fries;. Green beans and french fries are great; Staff and owners could not be more friendly; Densons is a real treasure for the Colonial Beach area.

Denson's is THE best. They always provide good service and even better food. I love that my mom moved to CB so I can enjoy their fresh seafood on a regular occasion whenever I come to visit or vice versa! They have always provided the best of the best seafood and I can't appreciate enough all the times they have made celebratory or holiday dinners with my mom so special. Thank you!

I can't believe how great this place is. All the raving reviews are spot on. Great and friendly professional service even with the carry out.
Tried their crab cake sandwich platter with fries and coleslaw, do recommend. Had to go in with my fingers on the coleslaw however there were no utensils or napkins in the carry out bag, oops. They hooked it up though with the hot sauce. Everything was so fresh and delicious!
Ahhh.... it is a little expensive but, the crab cake was pretty freaking amazing. Was $23 for the whole platter. Expected around that much when it comes to farm to table seafood, though

Me and my husband love densons! we recently moved to colonial beach from Florida. We miss publix subs with boarshead products the Flamingo sub is amazing. I got a 6 pack of the frozen crab cakes and brought them with me to Florida to have on Xmas eve with my parents. BEST CRAB CAKES WE'VE EVER HAD. So good!

Denson's has the very best fried oysters I have ever eaten. We have had them several times this year and they have been beyond delicious each time!!

Isolation dining at its best. Was treated to a delivery of the best burger and fries, country ham sandwiches, ice cream and beer! The best I’ve eaten in a month or more. The delivery driver is so courteous and respectful and the food is 5 star!! Thanks for staying open Denson’s!

If you have never experienced dining at this establishment you are definitely missing out on a very pleasurable experience. Great food, great owners, great atmosphere, great staff, down home service just like… the old days. You WILL leave satisfied and FULL!!! Oh yeah and HAPPY!!! One of the best Restaurants in Virginia! Food is always local and fresh. The menu is absolutely delicious. We have never had a bad dish or experience. The owners are extremely nice and put 100% of their love and time into the restaurant. Two thumbs up, must visit restaurant.👍👍

First time eating oysters and I’ll definitely be going back when I’m in the area. The owner and his wife were amazing people! Food, wine selection and dessert were all on point.

We have been going to Denson"s for years and we are only disappointed when there are no seats available. It is one of the top place I've visited and I recommend you make a trip to treat yourself.

Denson's has amazing food that is prepared fresh when you order. The staff are friendly and efficient. I can't wait to go back. Oh, and definitely try the ice cream. It's fantastic!

Amazing sandwiches. The Mayfair is an excellent, simple ham and swiss. Fried oyster po boy was really good! Service was a little on the slow side, but worth it!
