New Owners Peter & Angie Lien Pienaar are so excited to continue the great service of previous owners Diane & Stanley. The Pienaar's aren't new to the area, but are coming back after years of traveling the World with Disney on Ice and Royal Caribbean. Angie is a native of Superior and is looking forward to being "Home" again.
One of the 2 Upgraded Deluxe rooms, with a Queen bed in an Intimate setting, closest to the office with a Flat screen TV, coffee maker, mini fridge, luxury bedding and complementary parking outside the entry door (24 wide). Partially ADA accessible with clear signage inside the rooms, a step-in shower (30"wide x 32"deep and 6" Step-in) with a Grab bar.

Nicest owners ever, they actually care about people. I'm a traveling pipewelder, I stay at motels most of the year. I stayed there 6 months. I could have stayed closer to the jobsite, after meeting them, I didn't move. I got to watch there two boys, a husky, Axle and a Shepherd, Kyi grow up over the summer. I'll miss the two boys. Thanks

Gonna tell it like it is, we couldn't find a hotel anywhere around Superior/Duluth or at least for under $300 a night with a 3 night guarantee and turns out it was UMD parent night. So here we are, staying at a motel on the side of a secondary highway like in them movies you see. Cons: rooms are small, the shower pressure is low and there is some highway noise. Pros: rooms are cozy with some decorations, poems, modern amenities like a working fridge, flat screen smart t.v. heat/ac and the bed was insanely comfortable! The assigned parking was a nice touch too. Owner came out and greeted us one

Sleepy Hollow is a great place to stay! It's clean and very comfortable. We were traveling late and Peter, the owner, had our room all set for us when we arrived! All we had to do was drag ourselves and luggage to our room and relax! I recommend this great little motel to anyone traveling through the area!

The owner, Peter, was extremely accommodating. We'd called at the last minute, they were full, he called us back soon thereafter because someone had cancelled, and even booked us at a reduced rate due to the stay being for 2 nights instead of the 1 night only we needed. Yes, the rooms are small, but our room and bathroom were extremely clean, and the window AC unit worked great. We'd checked in late and Peter even checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Overall, an exceptional bargain at a very clean, quiet motel.
