Swanson's Motel, Cabins, and Campground has been owned and operated by the Swanson family for over 65 years. We are located in a park-like setting, 1 mile south of Solon Springs on Business Highway 53. Fluffy towels, cozy atmosphere, outdoor activities, quiet stay.it was all just perfect as always. I highly recommend as the price is too good to pass up! You can fish, hit the ATV trails, get ice cream, shop for treasures in the town, enjoy the best pizza around, and have a drink from a fabulous bartender.

All cabins feature air conditioning, wi/fi, TV, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee pots, and showers. Our guests also enjoy a 20x40 in-ground heated swimming pool, open Memorial Day through Labor Day. A playground area includes swings, slide and sand play area.

We are located close to the Headwaters of the famous Brule and St. Croix Rivers, Lucius Woods Park and Performing Arts Center, and the North Country National Scenic Hiking Trail, which runs adjacent to our property.

We stayed at Swanson's with a large group for a nearby wedding. It was perfect, could not have worked out any better. We will be staying there in the future while visiting family in the area.

Christmas blizzard and couldn't make it to Minnesota. Had to find something fast. place is great. It's old but clean and taken care of. Owners are cool. Gonna stay extra night. Family of 5 plus dog. Love it.

This is our second summer staying at Swanson’s Motel and Campgrounds. We love the cabins and the grounds. The cleanliness of the cabins we have stayed in is top notch and I am a picky one about how clean a place is. Our cabins have been spotless. The owners, Kristin and Ben are responsive and professional. This is a true Northwoods experience with dedicated owners who want to make sure you have a good time. Love this place.

5 star all the way! Charlie and Jan are great hosts! The cabins are older, but they are very clean and well kept. Being in such a humid area one would think they would smell of mildew and feel damp -- Totally not the case. Very nice, bright cabin that we stayed in and we both felt very comfortable there. The owners go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable.
