The dream of a new Yacht Club in Sea Isle City came true when dedication ceremonies were held for the original clubhouse on Saturday afternoon, August Thirtieth, in nineteen hundred and forty-one. For several years, this had been uppermost in the minds of many individuals, the most vocal of whom was Mr. William A. Haffert, editor of the Cape May County Times.
Mr. Haffert had published countless editorials strongly emphasizing the advantages that such a club could offer to the community in providing a high-quality recreational area, which would offer an inducement for desirable property owners to settle here. The editorials, along with letters from several summer residents, urged the Chamber of Commerce to initiate the promotion of a Yacht Club, but the suggestions went unheeded by the city.

Born and raised in Southern New Jersey, Jim has grown up in the hospitality industry. His family owned and operated a restaurant and motel in Cape May County. After attending Stockton College for one year, he then transferred to York College of Pa. In 2001, he graduated from York with a degree in business management and a minor in human resources.
Our main dining room offers a fine dining experience and is open through-out the summer and shoulder seasons. The main dining room has a panoramic view of the bay with both low & high-top inside seating option, as well as a wraparound deck offering a magnificent outside dining experience. Reservations are recommended for the main dining room and outside decks.
All members are required to check in at the front desk upon entering the club and must swipe their membership card through the computer system. At this time all guests over the age of 21 must be signed in. There is no guest limitation for a member's grandparents, parents, children (and spouses) or grandchildren of any age.
The club promotes a casual atmosphere with a relaxed dress code, we do however rely on members and guests to dress neat in appearance in keeping with the spirit of the club. Men: are required to wear collared shirts and no hats past 5pm, which applies to both floors and decks. If there is a medical reason for wearing a hat, please inform club management upon arrival.
The Yacht Club of Sea Isle City is a long-time member of the Yachting Club of America. Members of other yacht clubs are welcome to visit the YCSIC for dinner up to six times in a calendar year. The visiting member's Yacht Club must belong to The Yachting Club of America. Please provide first & last name and the Yacht Club where you are currently a member.

Look no further if you want a beautiful venue on the water for a decent price! Heather being my planner and her husband being the chef were perfection! First of all I never had one problem getting a hold of Heather, she responded to me almost right away every single time I messaged or called her. She legit made sure everything was perfect and we had everything we needed. We told her our family are big foodies and we want people to leave our wedding stuffed and they sure did!! Food was flowing all night long and it had so much taste! It was not that typical wedding food, it was amazing! Words can’t

Would give zero stars if possible. I called on September 12th and spoke to a lady who I believe was named Brenda. I asked if they provided dockage and she said they do not- which is fine. However at the same time, I am navigating the shallow New Jersey waterway with a 40ft trawler since there were 6 foot seas and was looking for a marina to stay at. I asked for her help in finding a suitable marina as she was the only one who picked up the phone and all other marinas looked too small and/or shallow to navigate through with my 4 ft draft. It was getting dark and I was scared- I expressed my worry

We had our wedding (ceremony & reception) at the Yacht Club in October. Heather and the entire team at YCSIC were a dream to work with. Heather is a true professional when it comes to weddings and works seamlessly with your other vendors. She steps up where ever there is a need and without you even being aware she orchestrates every moment of your day. Her flexibility is amazing. The food was delicious from apps to entrees and many guest mentioned this to us as well. The venue is gorgeous and allows for flexibility in what your day might look like.

My daughter had her wedding here. We were excited about this space because of the beautiful view and the promise that everything would be taken care of. But sadly, not everything went as we expected.
For favors, we made homemade cookies for our guests to take home. The cookies were to be displayed with boxes on a table next to the wedding cake. We provided all the cookies and little boxes to put them in and we were told the cookies would be put out toward the end of the evening and the table would be monitored. After all the guests had left, I discovered most of our cookies under the dessert table
