I am forever grateful! The past three years were rough being in a bitter custody battle. Yet hiring Sydney Batch to represent me legally was by far the best choice I could have made. Not only is she experienced and professional but also very supportive. She always answered my questions and took her time.
She was available anytime I needed her and provided such solace and comfort during a very difficult time. Sydney Batch truly wants what is best for the individuals in the case, she has a very caring heart which makes her such an amazing attorney. I am forever grateful for her. Hope for a Brighter Future!

I called to make an appointment explained my “ex” had filed in NY and i wanted someone to review the documents and help me negotiate some stuff. I paid my $250 consultation fee and within 5 minutes of the consultation the attorney let me know I would need to hire an attorney in NY. I should of been told that when booking the appointment.

I had a consultation with Ms. Poore in which I first gave her my background and then let her know I have some questions to ask in determining whether this firm could represent me specific to my needs (because you know, family law views every case as the same as they only see in black and white with their check box templates). I made sure to ask the hardest questions first and within a few minutes it became very clear based on her responses that this firm has no experience with High Conflict Divorce especially with regards to NPD. With each question, she first returned with "what's that?", "what

Not worth the price and did not live up to reviews. I was recommended by 3 different professionals to a particular lawyer, whom was not availabile, and I should have walked away not only then, but the additional two times my interaction with their staff was not positive. If they sense you are unhappy they will change their tune, but overall , they have their stance from jump about your case and will do little to rise against whatever the states tide is. I wanted lawyers who were not money hungry, and who believed in my story my story and would fight ferociously for myself and my daughter. And if

I was fortunate to find the law firm of Batch, Poore & Williams, PC located in Raleigh, NC to handle a personal matter. Attorney J. Patrick Williams consulted with me and agreed to handle the matter on my behalf. The experience I had with Atty. J. Patrick Williams and his staff was one of the most professional, thorough, proficient, and expedient processes I have experienced with an organization. The client care was superior, an A+ standard of service, and of the highest level of integrity. Attorney J. Patrick Williams has an extensive knowledge of the law and served me, his client, in

It was a very satisfying experience having Mr. Williams represent me at court.
Despite sounding dramatic, I will say that - the strategy he proposed on my first consult was exactly what the Judge stated in the final judgement! Felt like Mr. Williams reverse engineered the case from judgement.
Very thorough, responsive and professional. Strongly recommend!

Patrick William's represented me in a matter, of critical importance to my family. Anyone involved with litigation concerning a family court matter knows, the fear and uncertainty can be paralyzing.
Patrick is an attorney who asks the right questions, understands key issues, and is able to apply a solution that fits your unique situation.
I was facing a very serious matter. In our first meeting, he educated me on the possible outcomes, and gave an honest assessement. His approach demonstrated he cared about my family, and understood the impact, litigation was having on us. By the end of.our meeting

Very unethical practice. Hired firm as a defendant for a very simple motion to dismiss. Retainer fee went up $500 during consult from what I was originally quoted due to the complexity of my case (motion to dismiss is clearly complex, lol). $250 consult fee was not deducted off retainer as promised prior to hiring. The motion was dismissed by the Plaintiff first and this firm never had to file a response, appear in court or even inform the court they were representing me, NOTHING! I was charged 2500 for two emails and a 20 minute conversation. They refuse to refund any unused portion of my 2500

Patrick Williams exemplifies the attorney that you need to represent you in a family court matter. I had an emergency custody case filed against me by my ex-wife. Mr. Williams was able to keep me calm and provided great advice that resulted in a favorable outcome in the custody trial. Mr. Williams demonstrated his legal knowledge and was extremely professional throughout the entire process. Mr. Williams truly is an asset to anyone that uses his legal services. I would greatly recommend him to anyone and look forward to working with him in the future when the need arises.

My case won the award from the judge of the “worst, most contentious divorce” he’d ever seen. High-conflict, domestic violence and protective order, CPS, child and spousal abuse, self-employment – all the variables that make for a complex, convoluted case. And I represented myself for over three years at more than 40 hearings in front of at least 6… different judges.
Mr. Williams came recommended to me for a contempt charge filed against me, alleging violation of the custody order. I did not hold back, telling all the details that have quite literally scared off over

Mr. Williams came recommended to me after more than three years of representing myself in what the judge termed the "worst, most contentious divorce" he'd ever seen. I personally stood up for myself in more than 40 hearings with multiple judges. With litigation continuing to come from opposing party, I recognized the need and wisdom of having an advocate present for me.
Having worked with private attorneys, court-appointed attorneys, and attorneys as pro se advisors, I'm familiar with how difficult it is to get them to respond. I never had trouble getting Mr. Williams to listen

Patrick and I met less than 24 hours before my 50B renewal hearing. After going through what life was like with my ex, and his on-going behavior since; Patrick was able to go in the next day and make sure the judge heard the history required to decide in my favor. I was granted another 18 month Order. My last attorney had several months on the… whole case and managed 12 months.
Regarding Custody: Patrick was calm and rational. He wasn’t trying to be a psychologist, he wasn’t trying to think like a judge, and he wasn’t trying to become my friend. If you talk with an attorney
