Wow just WOW Bought a boat from SC and trailered it home our first outing was ok But at full throttle engine would miss and bounce. Took it to Swansboro Outboard Marine. I received a phone call the very same day. Fully expecting to have it gone for a couple of weeks. It went in Monday morning after having to order parts and do all the repairs Its sitting in my driveway before 5pm Wednesday. Top that if you can BUT not Likely

Bought a used boat with a heavily neglected motor. Ended up bringing it to Alan for a lower unit rebuild and he did a phenomenal job and had it back to me way sooner than any other shop quoted me. Speedy and reliable service with a more than fair price. Alan is extremely knowledgeable and will be my go-to boat mechanic from here on out

I had an electrical fire from a corroded trolling motor plug. Swansboro Outboard diagnosed my boat in a timely manner abs kept me abreast of the issues they found and needed to be corrected. When I arrived to pick up my boat Alan went over everything again in person with me. The icing on the cake is the gave my little girls pop cycles when we picked up the boat. They were friendly, professional, and I felt like I could trust them.

Allyn took his time to explain what was happening to my engine and what repairs he did in order to make it run smoothly. I can honestly say they are trustworthy and most importantly, they don’t overcharge like many shops around here. BTW, I was able to pick my boat up in just two days!

Professional and trustworthy business. I'm new to boating and I bought a used boat which needed some work done on the outboard (Motor would not stay on at idle speed), steering (back mount helm was cracked behind the console and steering super loose), and bilge drain plug (this was missing and previous owner was getting by with a worn out old rubber plug!!). Was not sure who to call and by luck I called Swansboro Outboard Marine and I'm glad I did. I stopped by on Tuesday and left my 1962 restored Boston Whaler for tune up and oil change. They called me at 4:30 and said it was ready.
We picked it up Wednesday morning before heading home to Va. and they had even lift it in the shop overnight. Great people

Great experience working with Swansboro Outboard Marine. Had a problem with my outboard not going into reverse. Allan asked me to bring it out so he could look at it...he looked at the engine when I arrived and completed the fix in 5 minutes. I was elated it was not a large problem but also that he was able to look at it so quickly. Allan was great to work with and would recommend utilizing his company for boat engine repair and other services.

Took our new boat to Alan for some electrical punch work for warranty. He took a look at the problem on our arrival and completed the work in 15 minutes, which meant we did not have to be without the boat for any time at all. Called about a minor issue with my battery not supplying power to the engine. Figured it was a simple fix but I didn’t have the knowledge or equipment to fix it myself...called Allan and brought the boat there and within 5 minutes he found the issue and fixed it up. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for future boat repairs or general maintenance
