General dentistry is simply the care and cleaning of your teeth, mouth, and gums. General dentistry concentrates more on preventive medicine than some specialty services do, though Lovett Dental Humble also offers a comprehensive list of specialty dental services as well. Your general dentist is typically the primary care provider who oversees your family's oral health.
Preventative dentistry is one of the main general dentistry services we offer at Lovett Dental Humble in Texas. This service, along with others we offer, use the most innovative and modern techniques available to provide you with the smile you desire and the ability to protect that smile long term.
You need to make sure that you take care of your oral health. Unfortunately, many people in the United States do not undergo a routine dental exam as often as they should. In general, everyone should ensure that they get their teeth cleaned at least twice per year by a trained dental professional.

Came here for my first time last year, as did my wife. Had issues and trouble from appointment to my insurance. Long wait, with friendly staff. If you are looking for a first time dentist, there are plenty in NE Houston and this one is not worth being a potential bad experience.

PLEASE READ FOR FIRST PATIENT!!!!!
I went to this office on August 2020 for the first time for a cleaning and exam.
The front office was nice enough, dental assistant and doctor too. Doctor told me that I had an old filing that I should change, other than that I was fine. Then I had the hygienist checking on me, she was super pushy about getting some irrigation because “swallowed” gums because of my pregnancy. Then I waited for a long time for my treatment plan. Again, pushing about the irrigation, told them no. Payed whatever my copay was for the filing and then started with my cleaning

Came in with severe toothache from a cavity gone bad. Was told I needed a bunch of work which I couldn’t afford. Ended up coming back after my molar broke but I had such a horrible time with the receptionist being unprofessional and not answering the phone. The dentist and techs were wonderful but the receptionists were just horrible. I had to reschedule my appointment due to work and no one answered the phone after calling for four days. Decided not to waste my money there and made an appointment somewhere else. Horrible.

All the staff were very accomidating. The front desk was very friendly from check in to departure. The Dentist did a complete review of any work that would need to be done and the options. The hygienist was fantastic. Overall a great experience. Love it here. The staff is like family. Everyone is so friendly, even when you are in pain, I can still Crack a smile.

Lovett Dental was super kind, understanding, and helpful! They assisted me with the paperwork, made several calls dealing with my insurance, and went out of their way just so I could be seen the day I came in! The two ladies up front (I can’t remember their names ☹️) were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met!

I broke my front tooth out of the blue while eating lunch and I called Lovett Dental, they were able to get me in right away! I had nothing but great people helping me get it fixed and fast so I could go on vacation that same day! The dentist was absolutely amazing and fixed my tooth and I was out the door and on vacation within a couple hours! I recommend them for any emergency fix like I had!

They said they accepted my dental insurance in this place. This is the only reason why I went for teeth cleaning to this place. I left this place thinking everything is properly paid. Only to get a statement 3 years later that you I owe them 300+ dollars for teeth cleaning. I would double check with your insurance provider if they accept your dental insurance or else you will get a surprise bill few years later. They should not misinform their customers and be transparent with the billing process what is covered what is not. They should’ve told me the exact amount I owe before I even left the
