Services
Alexa K. Alvarez is a founding partner in the firm Alvarez & Wallace, P.A. She has been a family lawyer in Nassau County since 1996 who is a strong litigator and tough negotiator. She routinely represents clients in divorces, contested and uncontested, as well as a broad range of other family law issues.
Our firm assists people facing the burdensome task of legally ending their marriage. We offer help getting divorced in Florida from skilled divorce litigators who will stand up and fight for you in court. Florida is a no-fault divorce state meaning couples in agreement to end their marriage can do so by citing "the marriage is irretrievably broken" as grounds.
A divorce settlement is a final ruling, but it is not carved in stone. In some instances, including spousal support, child support, and custody & visitation the law recognizes a need for people to revisit and revise their judgments, so they can reconstruct an arrangement to suit the needs of their current lifestyle.
Post-suit mediation is a court-ordered requirement in the 4th Judicial Circuit in Florida (Nassau, Clay, and Duval Counties), but it does not mean that you must use the mediation forum to reach your divorce settlement. All couples seeking divorce may attempt to settle the dispute themselves, through voluntary mediation, or through court-mandated mediation once the divorce is filed.
At Alvarez & Wallace, P.A. practicing family law is about more than just the legalities. We genuinely care about our clients and want to help them transition through their familial disputes with as little conflict and disruption as is possible. We have gathered several local resources that we hope will help our clients conduct some initial research.

This attorney from my experience and asking others never does her job
I can't report her to the Florida Bar because I am attorney--but you can!
It helps to get the word out through reviews too--do not hire this attorney!
