Services
We hired Capitol Hardwood Floors to refinish the wood floors at the historic Salvation Army Building (241 State in Salem). This is a 90 year old building with commercial use for all those decades. The floors had decades of abuse, including everything from tap dancing groups to water damage. Arnie did a superb job in refinishing the floors and this is probably the best they've looked since they were new.

Arnie loves wood and it shows in his close attention to detail and the way he brings old, worn, tired wood back to life. He restored my stair treads which turned out to be beautiful clear grain fir and he made my dining room and living room oak floors from 1904 look brand new. I couldn't be happier with his work

I'm going to make this short. One man show that took a month lacking three days to complete. If he would of showed up and worked eight hours per day he would of been finished easily in two weeks. He has junk for tools. He is extremely rude, inconsiderate, no social skills what so ever. His new construction work is pretty good other than installing a heat vent crooked to the wall and not connecting the ducting up to the floor. He refinished where doors that had seals on the bottom of the door. Left door open and it stuck to the floor. I asked him why he didn't take the door off. He replied he does

Mr. Carroll installed new oak flooring in my 1949 home. The job was done in a timely manner and looked fantastic. Arnie bent over backwards accommodating me with my crazy schedule as well as my budget. The was very professional but yet down to earth, honest and exceptional attention to detail .
