Excellent. Had a blank for my 1972 BMW 2002 ti on the wall, cut the key, and gave me interesting information about the original key (steel vs chrome covered brass. Hang on to that as they aren’t available any more). Good job. The only suggestion is to call first just to ensure someone is there to help with your issue.

Terrible experience going here. I came here to have copies of my house key made. I pulled out the original key along with my keychain to let the employee know which one. I was going to take that key off the keychain but the employee said I dont need to. She took the entire keychain to the copy area and proceeded to copy it.
I didn't check the finish product, which was my fault.
I came back home and realized that she copied the wrong key. So I drove back to the shop and wanted to let her know. She said it wasn't her fault and said I must have given her the wrong key... I specifically

While "construction signs" and general lack of parking on the street in Menlo Park, I don't care for their parking policy. I don't doubt they are nice people, but when there is nobody in the store and nobody in the parking lot, their policy states you are on private property so don't you dare conduct any other business while parked on their lot. They sell key protectors for 25¢.

I just had the worst experience with Robert! He was rude, obnoxious and tried to over charge me for a simple lock!!
I called about 3 different companies and they were the only available ones and I saw some good reviews so figured what the hell let's try them.
I regret that decision. I would advise you to stay away from this business and especially Robert!
I wish there was less than 1 star!

An elderly relative had a car clicker that had fallen and burst apart. She wasn’t able to reassemble the pieces so she figured she’d just pay through the nose to have it done by someone else. She brought it in to A-A Lock & Alarm. They reassembled it for her and didn’t charge anything.

I needed to make a spare key to my house, and found this little nook in hidden away on The Alameda. I walked right in and handed him my keys. Didn't even have to take it off of the set!
They have a variety of all shapes and sizes and even fun designs of keys. Super fast, quick and easy.

I had the unfortunate experience of someone trying to break into my place one day *while* I was home. I could hear someone picking the lock and luckily I was able to get out. Because my lock was tampered with, my key would no longer work. I researched high quality deadbolts and was on a mission to change mine out. Rich and Marg were awesome in guiding me toward the the Schlage Primus Deadbolt. It was expensive-- around $215 just for the deadbolt, but I feel a whole lot better now that it's on my door.

Update as I've now had multiple keys cut for three vehicles and one building:
A-A really makes great keys. I know, it sounds like I'm raving about something mundane (and I am - story of my life!) but I've had so many janky keys made that didn't work at all, or only worked if you stood on one foot, exhaled twice while hopping to the left, or sang the second verse of 'Seasons in the Sun' in Pig Latin (not to brag, but I'm fluent) while turning the key clockwise... I'm not sure what the big secret is to cutting working keys, but A-A's got it down.

I've had a couple of tricky keys that I brought to OSH, Home Depot, and almost every other hardware store you could possibly imagine and they couldn't make copies of any of them since they were a "special" type of key. What the heck is a special key??! All keys do is open a door of some sort so I don't see how difficult i could be.

I've had keys made at Home Depot. Tried them out, they stick or don't open the lock at all. I've tried other places that makes keys as a sideline. Same problem.
Recently I went to AA Lock and Alarm with several different kinds of keys to be duplicated. The woman on duty took them, made copies in a jiffy and I was on my way. Getting home to try out the various keys, they all worked like a charm. I'm going here to get more keys made.
