We never cut corners or take the easy way out just to make a quick buck and we treat every lock and key as if it was our own. We can help you with any residential issue, most commercial issues, and some automotive/motorcycle issues. We have a shop in Newark, but we are only available at that location by appointment, please call first.
I can get you back into the comfort & safety of your own home or car 7 days a week, 365 days a year, 11:15AM - 11:15PM. I also specialize in Realtor locksmith services for new homes or owners, foreclosures, tenant improvement, & more. Re-Keying is a process in which GreenKeys changes a lock so that a different key may operate it.
I can't believe I'm giving out a five star review but Ben definitely deserves it. Although he was busy and couldn't help me out he spent 10 minutes on the phone with me. Besides giving me free help, Ben told me to send him pictures of the problem so he could walk me through my problem. Service this good deserves deserves five stars.

I was leaving my home on Christmas Day with my son and wife when we accidentally locked ourselves out of our home. I thought we were doomed as no locksmiths were open except one. I called and within 15 minutes they showed up and after 30-40 minutes I was back inside my home. I highly recommend this company as they provide excellent service and are very professional and friendly.

Ben is nice, professional, a good communicator, and does good work with attention to the details.
--I texted to find out if he could rekey 3 door locks within the next couple of days and he responded almost immediately. We were able to quickly find a time which worked. He showed up as agreed, texting first to let me know he was on his way.
--In addition to the rekeying, Ben replaced a worn out deadbolt, repaired a plate which was coming loose, lubricated everything, and gave me some information about a hidden feature of the oldest lock--something I hadn't known!
--I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GREENKEYS

I'm very happy and impressed with Ben from Greenkeys Locksmith. He is one genuine and professional locksmith! I called him last night around 10:30 pm because I was locked out of my house without a key, with 4 kids. He came quickly and throughly explained which route would be best to take in order to get inside because we have multiple doors he could have opened to get inside. He was quick in making a new key and letting me know that he could come back in the morning to fix an issue with the lock that was installed incorrectly initially. I decided to replace my front door lock with kwikset smart key and made a backup key but somehow the smart key was overwrite the the master key. I didn't realized until the closed door and ended up locked myself out. I called a few local locksmiths, few didn't callback or didn't the right tool to unlock kwikset smart key. Ben called back and proved the quote while we're talking. He was able to unlock the front door and gave some pointers about this smart key stuff.
HIGHLY recommend Ben to anyone who's looking for a locksmith.

What can I say, other than Ben was great! I lost the keys to my steering wheel hub lock. He was willing to tackle the job for me that other locksmiths wouldn't touch! Very knowledgeable, reliable and understanding. I thought it may have been a lost cause, but he was able to use his skills to get my lock picked!

I got locked out of my home couple of hours back and insurance company messed up sending a car locksmith instead of a home locksmith. After a 3-4 hour dealing with insurance folks, Ben got assigned and He made a call. I explained him the situation and he came in 5 mins as promised. Very reliable and knowledgeable guy.
One example for his honesty and integrity is that he could have charged me extra saying he needs to send in camera etc., but he just did what is required and charged me far lower price. No new locks or key needed. Very honest guy ! You can trust him to do good for you.

Ben picked up my phone call and had me send him pictures of my custom key and lock we were using at my place of business. Since it was not urgent we scheduled an appointment during the 1 hour I had open on my schedule and he was able to fit in the service during that. I would highly recommend Ben for an Locksmith needs!

Ben is an awesome technician that is prompt, professional, and polite. He arrived, observed, and executed. He had all the tools to make sure there were no damages to the vehicle no scratches to the vehicle. If you're going to ask for the price to see if his services are cheap then he's not the person for you. His prices are reasonable and worth it. You know something is wrong when you call for something cheap and the person arrives in his personal car with made up tools, when some one like Ben GreenKeys Locksmith that arrives in his business service vehicle and proper tools and gets right to it

Ben went above and beyond helping me out today. I called 15 different locksmiths on a Saturday about a broken key for a register and no one would even entertain the idea of rekeying or offer any help. Ben called back and said he would give it his best. Super friendly service! He is mobile mostly and his shop is by appointment only. The only downside to this place is it is tucked away in a building that is tucked away too. But once maps found it i was able to fix the lock. If you need a lock or key or both hit this guy up you wont be sorry.

Could not be more pleased with Green Keys service. I needed to install an August lock and make some new keys for my home and they were fast and super helpful and priced better than the competitive quotes I got. They also choose to repair my main door lock rather than replace it which saved me from buying a new one which would have cost $120 and a testament to there quality workmanship. Highly recommend!
