We are Dana and Brian Todd, wedding story tellers. We have dedicated 10 years to photographing events and in 2020 when the pandemic hit, that photography world fell apart and changed our lives, as it did for many. But it also provided us a chance to spend more time with our kids, each other and open doors to pursue a new path that had been put on hold for many years.
Family photography sessions are still available on a limited bases and held with in our current home town area of Columbia, CA. We want to extend a thank you to all of the couples that had trusted us to photograph their wedding day. We are very honored to have witnessed over 300 couples get married.

My husband Paul and I went through the challenge of planning a wedding during COVID and it was NOT easy. We are so thankful for Dana and Brian who proved to be the most amazing duo for our special day despite all the wedding challenges that the pandemic brought along with it.

Dana and Brian were amazing! I truly can't say enough wonderful things about them. After postponing our wedding twice due to COVID, they stuck with us were able to capture our special day-despite the pandemic craziness. Dana and Brian did an incredible job with making our pictures fun, light hearted, and beautiful. They were organized, flexible, patient and communicated extremely well with us/the wedding party. We had our wedding in the most crazy time of our lives...a pandemic!!! Dana and her husband were there for us and had no issues with the situation happening around us. We had the pleasure of having Dana Todd Photography take our fall family photos! Our 2 year old was woken up from a short, late nap and wasn't the easiest to deal with, along with our seven year old that just didn't want to take pictures. My husband and I were worried that we may not have gotten any good pictures because the kids didn't want to cooperate at all. We were both blown away with the 60 awesome photos she got! It is hard to find the right words to describe just how amazing Dana and Brian are. There's so much nerves and uncertainty when booking a photographer, because it's a service, you're not buying a tangible product. You don't really know what you're getting until you get your photos back. My jaw hit the floor when I got the sneak peek photos back. Each and everyone of them, a work of art. Dana and Brian captured my groom's silliness, the fun of the whole night, but also the beauty of the outdoors and the venue.

Dana and Brian were an absolute joy to work with and we are so excited to recommend them to anyone looking for amazing wedding photography! When we first started our search for vendors, I knew that photography was going to be one of the things I was the most picky about. My husband and I are not the biggest fans of videographers due to the posed / unnatural feeling and we've seen enough uncomfortable and cringe videos to last a lifetime. I wish I could give Dana (and Brian too!) 10 stars out of 5! She did such an amazing job covering my engagement and wedding! The artistry in her photography is PHENOMENAL. I was completely blown away by the emotions captured in all of the photos...from the wedding ceremony shots, to the expressions captured on the dance floor. Dana shot our engagement photos by herself and selected a great location in Livermore. We are not extremely gregarious people, but Dana jumped right in and made us laugh. She was able to capture genuine interactions between us, and made the experience of being photographed as painless as could be.

SPEECHLESS! This is how my husband and I would describe Dana and Brian. They're are absolutely amazing. Like many other couples, we looked through dozens of photographers and met with a narrowed few. We were initially drawn to Dana's elegant yet unassuming style but quickly knew that she's the one for us after our first meeting. Dana is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I looked at a dozen or so wedding photographers online, and we met with a couple of others before meeting with Dana. Our first meeting with her was very easy and comfortable, and we knew right away that we loved her style and wanted her to capture our wedding day. We immediately booked Dana for our wedding after seeing her incredible work. After our in-person engagement session, in which we laughed harder than we ever have while having a camera pointed at us, we knew that we had made the right decision. She kept us smiling, laughing, and at ease, even with all the craziness that was going on, on our big day.
