My daughter joined the CITY Gymnastics club a couple of years ago shortly after we moved to Chicago. She loved it! Her skills improved a lot and she advanced to the next level quickly. Because my daughter enjoyed it so much, we increased her sessions from once a week to twice a week.
The founder Ms Yurchenko is a legend which was one of the reasons we chose this club. The coaches there are great and the front desk officers are friendly. We like the spacious high-ceiling gym and the camera monitor system which allows us to see how kids are doing during the session.

The all time best place offering kids and adult evening group classes. Staff is incredibly pleasant, experienced and helpful. Everyone is truly great. Perfect place if you're looking in my case to get back into a hobby/sport when I was younger. Meet wonderful mates there for same reason or a specific reason.

We absolutely love CITY Gymnastics. They're great for all ages, including mommy and me classes. Our daughter was already in gymnastics in Boston, where we would have to drive to get her to practice and when we moved to Chicago, we thought that meant driving to the suburbs, but we found this gym right in the heart of the city! I like to think of the gym as Times Square, it's super busy and buzzing with kids happy to be there, but they all know where they are going and what they are doing. (It can feel overwhelming if you're new, but there's a great energy) The coaches know all their kids by name

It is such an honor to be a part of this incredible program, not to mention how amazing it is to be able to communicate with world’s famous athletes on a daily basis. Enormous and spotless facility; great management and staff that greets everyone with a friendly smile so you feel welcome and valuable; professional coaches that help athletes of different ages grow and achieve their goals. We are so lucky to have C.I.T.Y. Gymnastics Academy in the South Loop neighborhood.

The staff is very accommodating, professional, friendly and provides great structure and instruction. My kids love it, especially parents night out, they call it "pizza slumber party!" This club has various options available for different ages and various camps throughout the year. I highly recommend it for any age and level.

We moved to Chicago from Cincinnati and since we attended a gymnastics club in Cincinnati, which was superb, I can compare that experience with experience at C.I.T.Y.
So here's a quick summary of my impressions over a period of about 7 months at C.I.T.Y.
1. Unfriendly reception desk staff. I never was greeted upon coming in for example. Answers to questions were terse and cold.
2. The children change their shoes in the same area where adults are walking with their shoes after the street. After taking their socks, the children run around an unclean, germy floor.
3. Apart from one teacher, whose

The coaches are great and my daughter is learning a ton. The front office staff are morons with a capital M. Getting any correct information from them and getting anything done correctly is not going to happen, so speak slowly and clearly so they don't screw you out of sessions or make your child miss events because they can not send emails or sign your child up for class.
