Founded in 1917, we are a fourth-generation family owned and operated luxury catering and event production company based in Livingston, New Jersey. And within our 150 team members, several generations of other families also call Crystal Plaza Group home-some have even found love inside the Crystal Plaza walls.
Passion rolls down from the top, and there's no one more passionate about what he does than our owner, Allan. For the last 57 years, he's taken a personal interest in clients and recognized the importance of making memories, and has built long-lasting relationships with our community and beyond in the process.
Before it became our beloved event venue, the historic Crystal Plaza was originally a residential mansion. The initial Livingston, New Jersey-based residence was built in the late 1800s by famed architect Stanford White, who was responsible for designing the Tiffany building on Fifth Avenue, the original Madison Square Garden complex and the arch at Washington Square Park in Manhattan, among other landmark structures.
One of the many unique aspects of Crystal Plaza Group is our separate catering divisions and menus: Highview and Alpine. Highview focuses on multi cultural la carte fare while Alpine Catering is strictly glatt kosher. Housed within our Crystal Plaza venue, each of our catering services has its own dedicated kitchen and menu.
