Before founding Global Logistical Connections in 2006, Derek Scarbrough, was already fully entrenched in the logistics industry. After receiving his Global Business Degree in 2002 from the University of Florida, Derek moved to Kansas City to pursue a career in freight forwarding. In 2004, after becoming a licensed United States Customs Broker, he moved to St. Louis to assume a Branch Manager role for a Mid-West-based logistics firm.

I can't thank the GLC Team enough. They have been our saving grace so many times and a key partner in our supply chain.
Rodrigo Correa and Rodney Deneseus have become like family and so many times have pulled rabbits out of hats to make our logistics run more smoothly.
If you come to GLC, don't look for rock-bottom prices. For that you can go to some neighborhood booking agent. Go to GLC if you're looking for real supply chain partners who can grow with you and give you the certainty and support to focus on running a rock solid operation.

Christen has helped us with multiple Import containers and has also Helped a Vendor of mine when they had trouble getting it to Move with the Importer they where using. Christen and the GLC team stepped in and got the Container moving at a great time of need.

Let me just start by saying that being a business owner and having to take care of a bunch of stuff is already pretty hectic. GLC has helped me to take the burden of dealing with my logistics when it comes to import goods. From start to finish, Maria Paula has helped me and guided me through the whole process, making my life so much easier! One less thing to worry about. I'm very happy with GLC and they are my go to company when it comes to the logistics of importing goods.

GLC is an excellent forwarding company! My rep Sean Kidder is amazing! He is so informative and makes it a point to keep us up to date on what is going on in the shipping world (even if it isn't what we would like to hear!). We are able to be more effective as a result of the information that he provides and we greatly appreciate him for that.
If you are looking for a forwarder that communicates well and keeps you up to date on what is happening with your shipments, you definitely want to give GLC a try!
