Diabetes can be dangerous to your feet - even a small cut can produce serious consequences. Diabetes may cause nerve damage that takes away the feeling in your feet. Diabetes may also reduce blood flow to the feet, making it harder to heal an injury or resist infection. Because of these problems, you may not notice a foreign object in your shoe.
Heel pain is most often caused by plantar fasciitis, a condition that is sometimes also called heel spur syndrome when a spur is present. Heel pain may also be due to other causes, such as a stress fracture, tendonitis, arthritis, nerve irritation, or, rarely, a cyst. Because there are several potential causes, it is important to have heel pain properly diagnosed.
There is a better way to treat toenail fungus (onychomycosis) that does not entail using harsh medicines that work in only about half of the patients. We are pleased to be now offering the new GenesisPlus laser procedure that is FDA cleared for many indications of the toes and feet. GenesisPlus is a quick and comfortable way to clear the nail without drug therapy.
Your first visit to New England Foot & Ankle Specialists establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. Dr. Sipala and the entire staff at New England Foot and Rehab are the gold standard for a medical office and staff. Prior to seeing him
I have had multiple negative experiences with other DPMs and medical providers, and then I found Dr.Sipala. Between their administrative people, their medical assistants and everything communication wise, they’ve given me the best experience. Dr. Sipala was patient with all of the questions I wanted to ask and made me feel so comfortable. I had bunions my whole life and when I went in he validated my pain, explained the procedure options and why he would recommend

I saw Dr. Sipala for the first time for chronic foot problems as my previous podiatrist moved. He is excellent. He carefully listens and is clear in his explanations. Several people that have been to see him had recommended him and they all mentioned how well he listened and explained things so they understood. The office staff were all very nice.

I rarely would ever write a review about a doctor, let alone a bad one, but I have no choice with how bad and irresponsible Dr. Sipala has been with me. About 3 months ago, I severely injured my ankle playing basketball. So about a week after the injury, I see Dr. Sipala and get X-Rays. He tells me that it's just a bad sprain, to wear a brace for a while, and it should heal on it's own. I felt like he was rushing me out of the office, didn't really care and it seemed like I was just the next patient on the list for him... I even voiced this to my girlfriend, but ended up just thinking this was

I had Plantar Fasciitis surgery on Nov 7, 2019. My surgeon was Dr. Sipala. I would trust him again if I needed surgery. He ensured I try everything I could; exercises, orthotics before we decided on the route of surgery. My recovery time is just as he said. My foot is almost back to normal. Many thanks to the girls at the office in Reading for all of your help before and after surgery. And thank you Dr. Sipala for your time and efforts.
Sincerely yours,
